Hey guys,

Hope you all are doing well. I tried searching for this on the black hat tools section, but I didn't find something relevant enough, so here's my question: What are the must-have SEO tools? I just purchased Scrapebox today and I'm fiddling around with it to see how it works. I'm planning on purchasing the following after this:

- Article Marketing Robot
- Bookmarking Demon
- Thebestspinner (1 year subscription)

I don't have the kind of money that Xrumer requires, and I've read around that it is better to purchase the individual softwares rather than going for SENuke. Please let me know if you have some other softwares that I should get that are better than these, and also if I should get these or not.

Also, how important is it to get proxies for these softwares? Can you let me know how many maximum proxies I would need and how much they might cost (I barely have 3-5 websites to promote) ?

Thanks a lot for your time, and I hope I didn't post this in the wrong section.

You may want to consider something like Sick as this will do some Web 2.0 and bookmarking for you, hear it has had some good updates of late and probably going to take the plunge too.

AMR is good and can be used to hit the web 2.0's to juice them up and then you can hit all (apart from money site) with scrapebox AA lists.

Agree with TBS, I have it and use it a LOT!!

You should be able to do everything you need with ~30 proxies and should cost around $25 for them.

Thanks for your response, it was quite informative. What SEO tool is "sick"? I haven't read or heard about it yet. You think it's better than BMD?

BMD is not a good one. You can try sick submitter, if you can't afford Senukex.

I believe he is referring to sicksubmitter

I just did a google search on sick submitter, and it seems like a pretty nice tool. I also see that it has the article submitter incorporated in it. So, should I just get the sick submitter instead of BMD and AMR?

Also, would it be much better to get SENuke instead of Sick submitter? Sorry, but I'm a little short on funds, so I'm thinking of making an informed investment.

You buy Scrapebox and i am also using it and it is a very good software. You can also buy the best spinner quite a better one.

I would recommend investing in TweetAttacks Pro, depending on what area of IM you are in. Similar to social bookmarking, it is a great way to drive targeted traffic to your sites or cpa offers. Targeted traffoc=conversions=$$$

It's semi-important to get private proxies as they are 10 times quicker than public proxies. With that said, public proxies can work too, if you scrape and test them 6-7 times and remove the non functioning and the slow ones.

I'm thinking of sick submitter and scrapebox. Seems like it would be a lot of link juice.

For proxies i use Proxy Goblin and also scrape from custom sources. Never ever needed private proxies. They are obviously slow thought, unlike the private ones.

The tools described above are great ones, but they're kind of too focus on specific SEO techniques, like spinning articles, submitting articles to article directories and such.

Yet, Google keeps diminishing the value of article submission. Please get me right, I'm not claiming article submission is dead, it does work to some extent.

I think if you're looking into investing in SEO tools, get the ones that will give you a broad SEO picture and help survive any coming Google update.

I'm pretty happy with SEO powersuite - unlike other minor tools mentioned here it does give you a bulk of SEO data to have a broad picture. Rank Tracker alone is worth the price of the whole SEO powersuite bundle.

I would say, get UltimateDemon, its way better that BMD and it does allmost the same than AMR (AMR is a little bit better on article submissions thought) + it does a lot of more. It's cheaper than SeNuke yet effective. Since you have scrapebox, you can easilily scrape your own site lists to use with UD.

It depends on how much money you are willing to spend to be honest!

Scrapebox in a MUST HAVE for a value SEO Tool. Look around here for the BHW discount code, at that price you really shouldn't even have to think about it. I just seen you have brought it already but if anyone else is reading this thread then they can take note.

If you can afford it get SEnuke X, if not, look at VenomSEO or Sicksubmitter.

TBS is worth the $77, but only use it as a manual spinner not on auto spin.

AMR is ok, but like it was mentioned before only boost your web 2's with it and not your money site.

Just my 2 pennies worth!

Thanks for the advice people.

I do agree with you on the power of getting to know the broader SEO picture. But, I think all those features can easily be found in an array of free SEO tools. So, the main deal here is a software which builds good backlinks and after doing some research on SEO powersuite, I see that its main focus is on link exchanges. That is a pretty old technique, and for that too, there are many manual ways to monitor. So, considering, my limited fundings, I believe I should go for something that is a little more advanced.

Thanks for the advice. $47 per month is a little out of my budget, considering it on a long term basis. But I think it'll be worth it if I can use the tool to get the results that I'm looking for.

So, you're saying that it's necessary to have a layer of web 2.0s in my linking structure? Because I was thinking of linking articles directly to the money sites. The problem with SickSubmitter is that many people are saying that its pretty hard to configure and that I'll have to spend extra money on buying packets or whatever they are called.

Okay, if I gather the balls to make that investment, do you guys feel that SEnuke is the best deal? And I wouldn't have to purchased AMR, some bookmarker or some other software to supplement it?

I really appreciate all the help. One of the reasons I'm starting to love BHW. \m/

It certainly doesn't hurt to have a layer of web 2.0s. You can blast spammy links at them without any worry of affecting your money site. Articles directly to your site won't hurt it though. Articles to your 2.0s will give you stronger backlinks which definitely helps.

You mentioned $47 was out of your price range - SenukeX is ~150/mo depending on your country and if you buy it with your affiliate link or not. I pay more because I'm in Canada :(. It's a great program but it really hurts my wallet. I have a subscription because I'm hoping it's a positive investment. Make sure you're earning well over $150 a month before you buy a subscription to it.

Although SenukeX has bookmarking, article, forum and web 2.0 submission I still have scrapebox, AMR, Xrumer and many other tools. You will eventually want more flexibility.

I've never tried SickSubmitter - it's a cheaper alternative to SenukeX but as mentioned you have to buy packets and whatnot. SenukeX is updated ~2 times a week and has a pretty good success rate on the websites it automates. The time saved is a nice perk - it doesn't really have much of a learning curve I picked it up in a couple days.

I'm pretty happy with SEO powersuite - unlike other minor tools mentioned here it does give you a bulk of SEO data to have a broad picture. Rank Tracker alone is worth the price of the whole SEO powersuite bundle.
I definitely recommend powersuite. Just download it free on this forum it's really helpful - saves me tons of time and gives me great insight. Just search for it you won't be disappointed the newest version is improved a lot, too.

My advice: Scrapebox as the first investment - it is a great multi tool I use it every day. Download SEO powersuite free from this forum. SenukeX if your wallet can handle it (and only if you're making your money back!). I got great results from Xrumer but people have their objections and the initial cost is pretty hefty at $590 (you also need to rent a server to avoid spam complaints from your ISP). I can't say I'm getting great success with AMR yet but I'm still learning it - others can vouch.

With the way that Google is now going you really need to improve the quality of the content that points directly to your money site.
I did an experiment no so long ago where I had 2 sites hosted in the same country but different servers, targeting the same product in a fairly competitive niche. same amount of pages each with unique content.

I threw quality link content at 1 site, (admittedly articles were heavily but manually spun so they were 70% unique minimum and read perfectly) and the other site I threw nothing but auto spun content at, and lots of it.

I also spent exactly the same amount of time on each site. All in all it was 4 hours on each site.

The results were the quality site is sitting at No2 (directly behind a multinational) and the crap is lingering around page 5. Even had a -50 from Google at one point although it is back now.

Remember though, whatever product you chose, whether it is SEnuke, Sick or anything else they are all only tools. They are only as good as what you tell them to do and the content you fill them with.
There is no such thing as a miracle tool, they just make life a damn site easier.

instead of AMR and BMD i recommend getting ultimate demon. it's 50$ / month but if you buy it cash it will cost you ~10$ / month (using your aff. link)

TBS is still the best spinner, hands down (>spinnerchief and spinchimp).

You could also add tweetattacks and tubetoolbox to your arsenal!
