If you had a backup you would be fine. I didn't make one but downtime is expected from anonymous hosting they get attacked and things fail go to a hosting forum and see what other people lose.

The latest info I have is that hopefully the hosting for the french server should be back soon.
EW has had to sort out some corrupted files but has now successfully done this (which must have been one of the biggest issues in terms of the time it's all taking).
I will give you more when I know more

How realistic is this though? I understand there are issues, but so far there have been several promises from EW that the sites will be back up "soon" or "in a few hours" and it just hasn't happened. I'd much rather have a realistic ETA than something that is unlikely to happen, and then be pleasantly be surprised if it starts working earlier!

I have to say this is the thing that has frustrated me the most in those whole experience - I understand that the problems caused are not your fault at all, but I've been told since Saturday on so many occasions that the files are about to be uploaded and the sites will be back up very soon and it's just not happened :/

Hi guys.

Quick update - all corrupted files have been deleted, and we are uploading whole mirror since 9 hours now.
It takes apparently some time, as we have 2,5 mil files.
We just need to wait until this is finished now, not much we can do to speed up.
We are running on 100 Mbits connection between servers, but thats not much help when you have such file quantity.
Once I will have ETA I will post it here.
You don't need to change anything on your end to get sites back up and running.

[8:28:15 AM] Bart Boch: Uploading customers files now - hard about ETA but all should be online in 5-6 hours max. Depends on connection speed - so far we upload with 100 Mbps connection, hopefully it will stay like that.

Right now it's 5:15PM here and still nothing's been changed.

Just as of explanation why I didnt respond to often here:

We are working all the time.
Fixing, updating and stuff.
If we are not here, it doesn't means we are not working.

I think I explained you on Skype already - and here in public - we are finishing uploading Home directories, but then we have databases and Cpanel files to be uploaded as well...


IMPORTANT NOTICE

If your site will go up, please do not log in to Cpanel for first 20-30 minutes, as not all files could be yet uploaded, and you can corrupt your account thus delaying getting back online.
