Google Panda - Nightmare for SEOs

In my humble opinion, Panda is about content - not links. If it was not, most people here would be busy spamming competitor sites with gay porn links.

Just do quality links instead of quantity links. Then you will never have problems no matter what kind of animal update it is.

I've been seeing people bitch quite often here. More so in the past few days than ever. It's quite annoying to be honest. People should just get along with life.

Of course tools like scrapebox, senuke, xrumer and all the others will kill your website before it is born. Now you will say that they will not because you would kill your competition with them if it was like that. But just think about it. Your website is a new one with no backlinks (or very few) and not so old... You COMPETITION is there for a longer time already established and with many backlinks already pointing at them. Every update is for the good. It's google making space for the hard workers rather than the go get easy like workers. So I think it's good for all the hardworking webmasters that whipping their ass of for some lousy bucks.

Actually, I read a lot of the big boys SEO articles. Guys from SEOMoz and others say that the panda update did the following:

If you build crazy links for xrumer and scrapebox, you might see some improvement. They are being devalued more and more. The big downside however is that the more blackhat you use, the less each additional link counts towards your overall ranking and the harder it is to move up. Which means that if you use too much blackhat, your whitehat work suffers as well.

Makes sense, your quality links would represent a very low % of your overall links if you have too many garbage links.

bs, panda update has nothing to do with links. You can't control them. Panda is about a better spam detection tool at the document level. This means, scraped content, low quality content (badly written) etc. will rank lower. How they do this with a fucking script is anyones guess.

i still have good results with xrumer, trusted site (web2.0) + blast to milion sites (guestbooks, forums, blogs, photo galleries in one linkslist) and im in google front page in 3 days and stay there (for competitive keywords 1,5 milion results in quotes)
