No worries House, I've been in your shoes before and it sucks. That said, I have nothing against the guy and wish him the upmost sucess in his business. I was interested in his services, because staminus is an excellent DC for DDOS protection and was going to need some failover DDOS protection on an upcoming project, so I was considering using his services.
That said, I'm just like anyone else here, and though I would weight in and provide some issues I saw, and perhaps raise some questions that I should be answered. As with anything, as much as you want to trust someone when it comes down to business I want answers to important questions. And some questions that if your thinking you were getting bulletproof hosting that you should be asking as well.
In short, there are growing pains with any operation and obviously these downtime issues have a tremendous effect on the owner. I don't think he intended for anyone to have downtime or staminus to move datacenters. But at the same time, at the end of the day just like you maybe losing money and have questions to answer to someone, he's responsible for answering his own.
I would give him at least another day to get everything sorted out, and whatever data that is inaccessible I'm sure he will do his best to get it restored. And hopefully he can put together some sort of operations plan to prevent further outages. Since, when it comes to DDOS protected hosting, people expect 100% uptime or the closest they can get to it. And 24/7 support for issues when they arise.
