Will google penalize my website for affiliate marketing banner?

Hi everyone,

I have a great idea, instead adding my affiliate links as anchors what about inserting banners in homepage and in the side of article and mark them as nofollow + sponsored, so this way will google penalize my website with affiliate banners?

Is this idea a solution to affiliate marketing without getting penalized?

If not, how do you earn with affiliate marketing with SEO and Google?

Google won’t penalize a site just for using affiliate banners. Mark the links as rel="sponsored" and make sure the pages add real value, because thin affiliate content is the bigger risk

There's no reason for your site to be penalized just because you have affiliate banners.

A gud idea for links is affiliate links too. I will ensure that the link are relevant and that I use rel="sponsored". It seems that it does not matter whether the links are banner or text.

affiliate banners are very common. all I would be looking to see is whether or not the affiliate banner is suitable to view on the website.

The banners by themselves do not cause any problem; what counts is the quality of the whole page as well as if the ads swamp the information. The use of `nofollow,sponsored` is ideal, although it will not get poor quality pages ranked.

You can also cloak the ads out for search engines

If search engine bot then don't show the ads
