Why are new Instagram accounts getting banned instantly?

I’ve run into a weird issue recently — every time I create a new Instagram account, it gets banned very quickly (sometimes within minutes). ID verification doesn’t help, it just gets rejected.


What confuses me is that this wasn’t happening before. Same general approach, but now accounts don’t even last long enough to warm up.


Trying to understand what’s actually triggering this:

• is it device/IP getting flagged?
• does account creation pattern matter more now?
• or something else changed recently in detection?

Would appreciate insights from anyone dealing with similar issues or who figured out a stable setup.

What IP are you using? I'm getting blocked at sms verification step where the text doesn't send.

Probably all three, but the signup pattern usually gets flagged first. If new accounts are being made too fast from similar setups, Instagram can treat them as low-trust right away. Device and IP still matter too, especially if the same browser setup or network keeps showing up. An antidetect browser helps by keeping each account in its own profile with its own fingerprint and proxy.

Yeah, I tested a few setups — datacenter IPs get blocked almost instantly for me.

Tried VPNs too, but most of them are already flagged, especially popular ones. Best results so far were with mobile or clean residential IPs, but even then it’s hit or miss.

SMS issue is usually tied to that — if the IP looks suspicious, IG just doesn’t send the code.

Yeah, that’s exactly what it feels like. I’m pretty sure my setup is burned at this point, same device/IP pattern across attempts. Even when I change small things, accounts still get flagged fast. Looks like IG is linking everything at a deeper level now, not just basic IP.

Been seeing the same, feels like they tightened things a lot recently.
How are you warming them up? Do you follow a set flow or just depends on the niche/content you’re running?
Feels like you have to be way more careful with the content early on now, even small things can trigger it.

If you are using the same IP then yes it's probably already flagged and you get banned fast.

Device fingerprint, IP quality, and account creation patterns matter more than before. From what I've seen, Instagram seems stricter with trust signals now. Using a clean setup, stable IP, and slowing down activity can help accounts last longer.

In the case you are using a single device to create them; they might get flagged. Look into either using a new device; or using any type of App Cloner that changes the IMEI number.
