Earning 800$-1000$ Passive income from NSFW adult subreddit traffic, I can guide you on how to do it with your niche and how to grow your subreddit

This method works for a lot of niches [Affilaites links / Selling proxies / Crypto / Media services / etc...], I am still new to monetizing my subreddits, so for now, I will share my top tips on how to get traffic to your subreddit:

1. The subreddit name
The subreddit name is the most important trick to steal traffic from your competitors, Reddit search ranking depends on member counts, for example:

View attachment 315114

You can test it on your Reddit search if you have not already searched the subreddit before, use private mode on the browser to find clean results
I targeted a Snapchat community copied the same name and just added something like this at the end 101 or NSFW

Now when people who are used to search for that subreddit you targeted they will see yours first if you have more members and will be interested in checking the subreddit as It have the same niche and higher members count, this method granted me 20k-30k traffic weekly, at the beginning

2. Google search results [Important]
We all search like this on Google: "How to make money online? Reddit"
Steal your competitor subreddit top Google results by doing this on Google:
Search: Reddit r/[The name of the subreddit]
Example: Reddit r/askgaybros

- Post the same post with more comments/upvotes, if you have a good amount of members you will rank higher in Google search results
- Steal all of their top posts and redo them, do not copy-paste this part, edit them a bit play around with it

3. Monetizing your subreddit
Big subreddits like r/soccer post an affiliate link to a goal made by a famous player and they get paid per visit, my friend told me they earned 1000$ from 1 post which they lead traffic to another website
Big hosting subreddit that offers knowledge about hosting websites, they share their affiliate in every post using automod and in the sidebar, they earn a lot leading people to these places
On my subreddit, I am selling them user flairs / sticky post / sidebar links and other stuff that granted me around 800$-1000$ in 1 month, there is a lot more I can share here, if anyone found this post useful I can share more details
Note: Do not share any payment details in your subreddit, do not offer any services in the mod mail, lure your client to telegram, or you will get banned for breaking Reddit ToS

4. Lastly this is my subreddit traffic results:

A lot of useful info shared on the thread it self, make sure to read the replies too, if you have any specific question in mind let me know!

Mod accounts are exceptionally strong - Warmed for several months, no spam use, just moderator priveledges and natural interactions in related groups etc - zero advertising. Average age: 10+ years. P Karma: 2000+ C Karma 10000+

In terms of dripfeed speed, assuming the following speed settings which are adjustable at any point and there is no limit to frequency change;

72/day
144/day
288/day
600/day
1200/day

We're currently setting speed to 1200 for a few hours during peak times, then dropping this to lowest speed of 72/day for overnight/off peak periods.

Would you recommend mixing in the middle frequencies aswell?

Appreciate the responses, great thread. Thank you.
what program you are using and this still works? what is the ROI on this

Does this mean your subscribers must pass the sub you're copying?
How about a sub with 4m members

competing with big subreddits for the #1 spot isn't a good plan. it's better to go for #3, #4, or #5 instead since that can still bring members from their subreddit to yours when people search for it

I would suggest checking subreddits that have around 100k-200k members, these subreddits will be easier to win over and get #1 for that keyword if that makes sense

what program you are using and this still works? what is the ROI on this
The ROI is high, but it depends on your niche, is it OF/Affiliate/Casino/VPN/Proxies/etc.. etc.., this is results of some subreddits that i have shared here before, it all depends on your niche

Can u share the rest? Im interested. thx mate
The thread is full of info, if you have any specific questions, feel free to drop them here, i will be glad to answer them

Impressive work @Shawerma — thanks for dropping real value here. Subreddit-based monetization is super underrated, especially for affiliate, CPA, and OF-style offers.

Here’s a few things I’ve found work really well in parallel with your method:

✅ Repurpose Top NSFW Content with a Twist
Use AI tools to remix captions, upscale image quality, or even generate teaser content. Keeps your sub fresh and unique without reinventing every post.

✅ Bridge Traffic to Landing Pages
Instead of dropping links inside Reddit (risk of shadowban), push users to a LinkTree-style LP with multiple CTAs — OF, Snap, affiliate, crypto wallet offers — keeps you ToS safe.

✅ Niche Layering = $$$
Instead of broad NSFW, combining niches like “AI-generated redhead cosplayers” or “Snapchat leaked gamer girls” converts way better. It narrows competition + increases conversion rate.

✅ Use Reddit Ads (strategically)
Test $10/day targeting similar subs, just to get those first few legit users & engagement, especially if your subreddit is new and empty. It’s a fast karma boost that doesn’t look botted.

You are on the right track. There is a lot of money to be made, just find a niche you are good at, start with that, and then expand from there

Quick update, it looks like Reddit will soon move away from showing subreddit member counts, keeping them private and focusing instead on weekly views. Not sure how that will look, but it’s definitely an interesting concept

then it sucks we wont know which sub is bigger ones

Yeah, people can still check through praw API, but in general weekly views are more important now
New accounts can't get the ouath token for praw api without permission. They did that to crackdown down on bot spam.

These are my 4 NSFW subreddits - all in my niche.

I am an OF creator myself. The automoderator drops links to my OF on every submission and a crakrevenue affiliate link.

The biggest subs OF tracking link got 5k clicks since May and 5 subscriptions. The second and third got 1k clicks and 1 subscription - all paid, but $100-120 maximum total revenue.

Crakrevenue did $100 in a year.

What else should I be doing to maximise this traffic? Direct links to my OF won't convert as well as your typical OF model because I'm a guy who's target market is straight submissive guys into Femdom - so they don't join my page because they simp for me, they're more interested in the women I film with.

If I could make more money selling the automod links then I'd happily do that

Reddit updated this part a month ago, now any new account can create a subreddit, few months ago your account had to be 30 days old
but risk of ban is really high
better to use warm acc with 1000+ karma

100$ in a year is crazy, when my subreddits were that size i was making around 50$-100$ a day per subreddit, the good news is that you have a subreddit you just need to learn how to monetize it now
