Automattic, the company behind Wordpress, Woocommerce, and Jetpack. From what I remember, Festinger is allowed to continue operating since distributing GPL licensed software (themes/plugins) is legal, but he had to remove any Automattic trademarks from the site. This is why Festinger now "forks" from the original distributor and distributes them under a new name - and why you see so many disclaimers on the website.

My guess is doing this across thousands of plugins and themes is pretty difficult, especially for every new update.

At this point it doesn't seem like he can do it and stalling for months seems to be an exit strategy (in my eyes). I had a PM with @BassTrackerBoats and Deleted member 752298 - and from that conversation, the trust pilot reviews, and people here who are still complaining about their card being charged, everything I saw points to this being a cash grab until it inevitably all comes crashing down.

Festinger is still charging customers all while "he can't figure out" user authentication (if users can't login how can they cancel subscriptions?), and most importantly doesn't even deliver on the original promise of this thread.

That would explain how his team manages to change the design of the homepage every week when they're supposed to be working on the database. It's been at least half a year and everything is still a mess, it could have been just incompetency and neglect, but at this point it's hard to not think otherwise

Deleted member 752298 i tried accessing my billing portal and what do you know got an error. I want to cancel and get a refund im done trying with you and this site. Failed to access account portal: API Error: 401 - {"success":false,"message":"Authentication required"}. Please try again or contact support.
 
I am able to login too, as I see, but it seems like I am a free user while I am a lifetime!
 
Can confirm Everything works :) Thank you... When will the updates start? Like all the plugins are from July. Yoast and Elementor are super old too....

Try contacting the payment provider which is used. Tell them that direct contact or accessing billing portal on client side doesn't work.

hey bro i had downloads left on my account and now it's showing 0 downloads left

Login works but downloads do not - it signs out everytime when I click on 'download'.
