Is it possible to make $500-$1000 per month for a newbie in 2025?
Because I feel like most people here don't make money or only make money by selling services to other users...
Is it real? LOL
What methods are currently working in general? Like maybe SEO (or is it dead..), youtube shorts, tiktok, etc...
I know nobody will spoon feed me (om nom nom) but maybe you can point me in the right direction?

I don't have any decent skills...just a 9-5 job in an office doing data entry.
I live in a third world country. I am willing to work hard, but I don't know where to focus.

For newbie you need to read and learn for few months,
Then invest little bit on what you have learned and you will start earning

You can get an idea by examining the topics traded on bhw. For example, what do you do that does not challenge you? Editing videos and making money on YouTube? or running SEO and making money? There are many sectors. You should determine your talents and opportunities and start a job.

Right now it's become harder, but few years ago it was easy asf, I think there is still more ways than it was before, you just gotta search and improve your skills bro.

personally I do it for fun
if you take it too seriously, you'll get frustrated
mostly it's about finding cat and mouse games where you can take advantage of certain details, for example some websites allow you to post links, and you can take advantage of that

Now to offset the passive agressive note - start studiing AI agents and start thinking what you can automate and sell either as a product or a service. Study cold outreach to get clients. Thank me later.

You gotta at least start with a general direction, figure out what you're good at or what you can get good at. Otherwise you'll just be blindly trying everything and not making any money

Once you've chosen a direction, then immerse your self in the sector community. Give yourself time to learn and build instead of focusing on the money... that'll come later if you get good

Make and sell simple Excel or Google Sheets templates like budget planners or invoice trackers on Gumroad or Etsy. Price them $5–$10 each and share in niche groups. Create once, sell many times, and watch small sales add up fast.
