your question already answer by ebaymafiaKeyword research. Pretty much the same as you would do SEO for any site.
With Fixed Price (Till Canceled) I list say, 10 products a day. I come up with a strong easily found title two ways. First I use vendios research tool and it helps you pick out words that increase traffic. Next I bring that into Google Adwords and I mess with it until I have a good amount of expected traffic. This takes a couple minutes but its worth it. This is why I can only list 10 things a day, lol. Next upload your new eBay listings to Google Base. Pretty easy.
Now what I do is play the waiting game. I've usually made some sales within a week, or I have a lot of watchers. Usually its always 1 or 2 items that really stand out to buyers. So now I buy backlinks to my item, so now when someone types in a similar phrase into a non-ebay search engine that is not really broad, they find my products and I make more sales. Once I make a sale, I point my new customer to my actual website for a "discount" which is really the percentage I give eBay.

this is a really interesting thread.. I am new to this site.. thanks for the info.
what is the best way to create backlinks to a google auction?
i want to PAY for some cheap traffic and have it go my auction..
my goal is to simply increase my Hit counter/view count at the
bottom of the page. any ideas on how to do this?
