I don't think I'd have any problems selling anything if only people would see them, but I'm getting nothing.

What can I do about this?

Just make some really interesting title!
And ofc your traffic depands of product you trying to sell... :)

I hope i help :)

Well, I'm selling mixed lots of women's clothing. I've seen clothing lots sell for quite a bit, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

link to auction? feel free to PM. Don't mind critiquing.

Usually it's the auction name, etc., also, if you've never sold those products before in bulk people may be hesitant. People usually look at the products you've sold in the past and your ratings on those products.

Keyword research. Pretty much the same as you would do SEO for any site.

With Fixed Price (Till Canceled) I list say, 10 products a day. I come up with a strong easily found title two ways. First I use vendios research tool and it helps you pick out words that increase traffic. Next I bring that into Google Adwords and I mess with it until I have a good amount of expected traffic. This takes a couple minutes but its worth it. This is why I can only list 10 things a day, lol. Next upload your new eBay listings to Google Base. Pretty easy.

Now what I do is play the waiting game. I've usually made some sales within a week, or I have a lot of watchers. Usually its always 1 or 2 items that really stand out to buyers. So now I buy backlinks to my item, so now when someone types in a similar phrase into a non-ebay search engine that is not really broad, they find my products and I make more sales. Once I make a sale, I point my new customer to my actual website for a "discount" which is really the percentage I give eBay.

your question already answer by ebaymafia
it is good answer, i will add some :

make an auction, give it low start, and people who bid your item will se another item by you
or you can make your own blog, list your item there, then using ptc , autosurf, targeting on them, using good keyword that will describe your item :D

wish you can succeed.I have failed in clothes business. There are mass clothes all over the internet, i don't know how to sell them. You should try some special things.

Try Tweeting with an interesting line like - "This clothing range is fantastic, and they do a wide range of sizes" & add a bitly link to the ebay item. Works for me, get around 3000 views a week!

Have you tried setting up an Ebay Store?

Also, make use of the cheap eye catchers (galleries, bolding) and pay the extra cash for featured items if you have multiples of the same item.

Thats the same thing i want to learned from all BHW members..they are very helpful.Wish i could find this site before..I see a lot of intesrestin topic in this forum which help me build my confidince in making money through ebay.

i want to PAY for some cheap traffic and have it go my auction..

2500 views in a 10 day period...

how does the ebay hit counter work?

do i need a professionally designed ebay store
along with a professional designed HTML ebay ad?

how many links or unique URLs can refer back to my ad?

Why is your only interest to increase your hits?

well, in my niche, if i get about 2000 total views to my auction ebay will start suggesting and featuring my auction.. at which point i can get a lot more money. i just want to find a way to get 2000-3000 views so that my ad/auction will start moving to the top, so to speak. and then, the real buyers will see it. i DO NOT need targeted traffic, just traffic..

anybody have any thoughts here?

thanks!
