Ok thanks wiz.

I submitted the list to Sweetfunny, of all the URLs these trojans are found on. I had around 150 URLs - maybe I am scraping from the wrong places, if no one else is picking this sort of stuff up.

That's 150 virus hits in around 5 weeks.

I have told you...dont post always on your favorite porn sites kendra ;)

I still havent figured out how to use the learning mode since the video shows on how to do it but not how to get to it.

To get to the learning function you need to setup and start the commenter in manual mode.

In the window that opens, the top pane has the list of blogs with the browser pane below.

At the bottom of the window is the learning mode button.

As you go through the list of blogs when you come to one that scrapebox hasn't learnt yet, the form fields will be empty.

So then you click the learn button and a new window opens.

Then just click in one of the fields and take it from there.

If I harvest all the good working free proxies from within scrapebox, how many keywords would they be good for harvesting urls?

I have a keyword list of 10,000 keywords, will I be able to harvest all blogengine urls in one go? Or should I break list up and say do 500 keywords in each run?

I had a list of over 6k kwds and harvested until now....wow just hit 1M and still going :greddy2:
And I should have over 1.3M but it had crashed at 300k :(
I am just curious how many blogs I can harvest with one shot. It's 6 a.m and I don't even want to go to bed until it finishes case I'm afraid that if I go to sleep SB will go to sleep too :ranger:

On the manual poster is a button "Learn". When a form is not detected and filled in manual mode, click the learn button (and follow the video from this point on).

Is the harvester still working? After the .38 update, I can't seem to
harvest anything in any of the search engines. When I click on
harvest.. it just goes into harvesting mode and sits there. If I
try to stop harvesting, it does nothing. I eventually have to
do a CTRL-ALT-DEL to close the Scrapebox program.

Learning scrapebox and liking it. I fill pretty comfortable with the learn mode, but I would like to know if there is a way to make it learn that it needs to insert captcha and then let the captcha program figure it out?

My rapid indexer doesn't work. I load the URLS to the list and it stays blank.

Anyone else having that problem?

I have Windows 7 64-bit

So you load websites and indexer services?
The urls will only be displayed when both lists contain valid entries.
Possible that one list is malformatted?

I'm looking at buying scrapebox for use on my websites. I have questions though.

- Can scrapebox produce a list of URLs commented on for pinging manually?
- Are major and minor future versions/updates included in the price?
- Does scrapebox have a pre-populated list of proxies to use?

The price is right, so far as I have seen the learning curve is pretty decent. As long as I can get a report of what I have achieved would make this the perfect app for me.

Buying in the next half hour or so. So hopefully I'll get my questions answered.

No, I didn't go through 101 pages of replies to find answer to my question :)

Yes, after you finish a run of commenting, you can then run the link checker and export found links to a new txt. I believe theres is even some sort of pinger built right in.

Yes updates are all free, and frequent :)

Pretty much, there's a proxy manager built in that will scrape from 8 proxy sources and test the results. After a few minutes (or more, depending on how many proxies you are looking for), you'll have a fresh list of working proxies.

The price is a steal, and the learning curve is indeed decent. I bought it a few weeks ago and have been having a ball with just the basics, delving into the addons now, and it's amazing what this puppy can do! I'm pretty much positive you won't regret the purchase.

There are addons to this software? What kinds?

Just purchased scrapebox. All was well until the software tells me that it requires a few hours to manually validate the license. That burns me because I have a couple of hours solid to learn and tinker with the app, but now I can't until next week.

EDIT2: That was lightning fast. Just installed air conditioner for my kid's room came back to see my license is activated. Thanks!
