Hi all!

I am about to run my first campaign on Meta ads for my Shopify dropshipping store and wanted to ask some experienced people for advice. If there are any people who can help, I would be more then appreciative!

I have conversions api and pixel installed and set up.

I was planning on going directly to “sales” objective and run some static creatives in a carousel, a video and maybe some dynamic creatives.

The strategy I am going for is three adsets and 2 creatives for each targeting different audiences.

Budget would be 60 euros per day (10 euros each creative) for a big Easter European EU Country (tier 2).

I guess my question is :
Is it ok to choose as an objective the “sales” option on fb ads if I have my Shopify synced and order can be done in one click? Meaning, is it ok to buy “sales” ads on cold audience and start building from there?

Are there any articles with case studies I can read ? Good studies usually involve a whole campaign with lead generating, conversions and retargeting, but I would like to go just for sales. I’ve see people do it, but never saw a good case to look at.

If you have any suggestions or recommendations I would be very grateful!

Thanks !

It's hard to tell exactly what to do. My advice is do the testing few time to see if it works or not. You can set the low budget, which has a little risk because sometimes low budget campaign doesn't show the exact result.

Yeah, my budget is on the lower side, but I don’t want to risk a lot of money on my first campaign. Hopefully I will collect enough data at least

If you don't take risks, how will you know how Facebook distributes the campaign? Is your campaign effective? Because Facebook will rely on your budget to reach more customers. If the budget is too low, the marketing strategy is not large enough for you to test your strategy

Do you suggest to increase the budget ? By how much ? 100 day? more? I read that for the test period 10-15 bucks per each creative should be enough to collect data and see what works after a week or two

10 euros per ad group which is actually quite low to get actual data, as far as I know that's just the number to deliver. because maybe it's an access bot

I think I mentioned that it is 10 euros per creative. In each ad group there will be two creatives meaning it is actually 20 euros per group.

If you know by any chance where actual effect starts? At 30 per group maybe ?

You can create a "click to web" campaign and Facebook will target users who regularly view and buy products.
But it's important that your product meets customer needs

Aren’t most of the objectives are “click to web” just the action you expect from audience to do is different (fill in a form, sale, etc. I guess the only one that is not is “awareness” objective.

I would be thankful if you could explaine further :)
