IMHO affiliate links is like a big red flag.

One work around is linking to a website that then has the affiliate link.

I don't want to give away the subreddit, but for example, one was a subreddit on "Lawnmowers" and the moderator stickied a post about "Best Lawnmowers" and it was their affiliate niche site.

Post with website link was stickied for over 2 years now. I'm sure it got reported a time or two, but that would go to the Mod. You have to submit reports on Subreddits in a different form that's not even easy to find.

And the average user isn't going to report a subreddit. And when they do, it's really difficult to remove a subreddit if you're just a random person, even with multiple accounts. They are typically taken down if they get too big and an outside force wants it taken down (ie: some big company, or it's getting a ton of spam reports and the mod isn't doing anything). But if you're actively modding and doing 90% of the things right, you can sneak by.

Many Subreddits will funnel users into other subreddits with cross posts, so they always have backups and backups.

Yup a lot of subreddits funnel users to other subreddits you are right about that one, it's a good way to keep the traffic and save it in case you got banned in anyway

this is the best niche now, all other social media platforms are banning adult content, everyone is coming to reddit to check adult NSFW content atm, all OFM are working on reddit
 
Could you confirm if my understanding is correct? There's a Reddit post that ranks as the top result when searching for the best coffee machines. If I were to create a subreddit similar to the one where this post is located, copy this post and some of other content with slight modifications, and generate more comments and upvotes, would my post eventually replace theirs as the top result? age of post doesn't matter?

Search: Reddit r/[The name of the subreddit]
Example: Reddit r/askgaybros

- Post the same post with more comments/upvotes, if you have a good amount of members you will rank higher in Google search results
- Steal all of their top posts and redo them, do not copy-paste this part, edit them a bit play around with it

3. Monetizing your subreddit
Big subreddits like r/soccer post an affiliate link to a goal made by a famous player and they get paid per visit, my friend told me they earned 1000$ from 1 post which they lead traffic to another website
Big hosting subreddit that offers knowledge about hosting websites, they share their affiliate in every post using automod and in the sidebar, they earn a lot leading people to these places
On my subreddit, I am selling them user flairs / sticky post / sidebar links and other stuff that granted me around 800$-1000$ in 1 month, there is a lot more I can share here, if anyone found this post useful I can share more details

A good title + comments + upvotes will do the job, and make the post age a bit after that
 
you guys know if NSFW is still possible on reddit? i know a few years back reddit had a LOT of nsfw subreddits but somehow most of them vanished.

Idk if it's possible but I'm trying. Currently have a subreddit at 210 members. Hopefully I can get to 500 soon.
