I recommend buying domains on the Godaddy Auction. I bought domains there many times and I never came across a domain with Google filter. Expired domains allow you to bypass the Google sandbox and get into search results immediately after indexing. But you must definitely buy a domain in the same niche, otherwise there will be sandbox again, because the niche has changed and in order to have better positions, because thematic backlinks give much more link juice to the site. Backlinks of auction domains work even when some links are no longer there, they have fallen off, this link juice does not go away over time, it remains on the domain. It happens that there are only 5-10 backlinks, but all the keywords are in the top of Google for good low-competition keywords (because before there were 300 backlinks for example).
