I think it can affect SEO in general, but not so critical. We will watch and analyze how it will affect us in the future and make more detailed conclusions.

Every time someone says "SEO is dead" on this forum what they actually mean is that their shitty blogs are dead. Which is probably true

SEO is not dead and I do not believe it will change it methods, google profits from advertisement, and if that is reduced they are haging them self, so you are telling me they will stop getting money to use AI? yes they get money from other sources but doesn't make sence start loosing money, they will add AI but there will be a balance with both.

Ads will be delivered above and below the AI response.
Same with local businesses, these rankings will be a long list taken from Google business pages mixed with ads (just like they do with e-commerce) and that will take 99% of all traffic, local SEO's know that there is no scrolling down, people are lazy and most of the time cannot be bothered. And if you think your plumber-in-city.tv site is going to be on that list then you have a great surprise coming for you lol
That is how Google is going to get their bag, I do love the copium in these threads though, but thb I am glad I sold everything last year, if I was a small publisher or local SEOer (as i was) I would be extremely worried for what is coming, to all you out there fighting the good fight: good luck and God bless...
