My review after testing
Yesterday I beta tested this service and here is what I found:
I made a list of 40 YouTube urls to have them converted into posts (you also have the option to provide keywords instead of urls). After 30 minutes, OP delivered the results. I chose the HTML format, so I received the posts via email as an attached archive, but you can also have them delivered straight to your WordPress site.
I received 32 posts and OP offered to replace the 8 videos that didn't convert, as he explained that 20% of the videos might not convert due to yt technical issues beyond his control. I received the posts both as HTML and as TXT for convenience, which is useful if I want to integrate them further with my own script (for example to post them on FB or Quora + other possibilities).
The quality of the posts is fair and much better than a simple transcript. Basically for $1 you can have a video turned into a post with paragraphs, subheadings, proper punctuation and letters capitalization which are lacking in default transcripts. Not to mention doing it in bulk, it's a massive timesaver.
The quality of the posts also depends on the videos. I picked videos from different niches and with different styles and I noticed that videos with less jargon and a more descriptive style will convert better compared to videos with a lot of dialogue and jargon. Expect some errors because audio to text doesn't convert 100% accurately, especially for acronyms and rare names, but it doesn't happen very often. OP was kind enough to suggest me a wp plugin that can fix some of the errors if I wanted near perfect results.
This service can have a ton of use cases. Off the top of my head I could see this as something ideal for generating news and sports articles.
It also has an advantage over AI content because this is more factual considering you can pick the source of videos, like a yt channel that you trust.
As for myself, I am considering to use this service for my next blog because the benefit to cost ratio is simply amazing and I could kickstart the website with the initial 50-100 articles, saving myself many hours of writing, especially in a niche which is not as covered in blogs as it is on YouTube.
