Forum vs blog, which rank better

It depends on the niche and the audience. So there's no concrete answer here without a detailed question. Reddit would then take all the traffic.

'm thinking forum might rank faster and higher than a blog, what do y'all think??
Depending on quality of the forum, same as a blog if you build an authority blog with a lot of visitors it can be as efficient as popular forum

Interesting that so many people say Forums... I don't see that many forums in Google.

Forum like BHW ranks faster when compared to blogs.
But you can compete blogs with forums by producing quality content with high relevancy to User's search intent!

Forum are a thing of past, most people go to Facebook groups, quora, stackflow and reddit. Bhw and a few are rare exceptions.
Having said that there are more chances of success with blog then forum, if you are still not convinced then roll the dice!

It depends - reddit and other platforms push out right wing people and I have seen quite a few groups that have moved away from FB and Reddit and made their own independent forum.

Can't talk about that on bhw, no politics.

I'm not talking about politics - I just brought an example of people who would use their own separate forum due to restrictions on social media platforms.

Wow is ranking no:3 on Google, so easy, let me go get a new domain, and start duplicating this thread lol.

I just wanna write blog topics but in a forum, just for ranking purpose.

I'm looking for the best alternative, what I'm writing is blog content, if forum ranks better, I'll write blog content on forum instead of blog.

If you just want to write blog posts buy an expired domain, built it on top of that with Wordpress or something

The best approach depends on your specific goals and audience. If you want to establish your brand as a thought leader in your industry and attract high-quality leads, then a blog may be the better choice. If you want to build a community around your brand and generate user-generated content, then a forum may be a better fit.
