Forum vs blog, which rank better

Well if you have an established forum with a lot of members then yea forum but if your forum its new and you have 20 members then i think you lose your time and you should go with blog instead

It depends on the blog or forums keyword and platform , both can be rank faster if you us high rank keywords

A forum is never going to rank faster than a blog from scratch. UGC is not a great performer.

It's just a matter of numbers but still creating a community to reach those numbers is always a hard job, that may take way more than just building the content yourself for a blog.

So blogs are 99% of the time the way to go, ranking-wise.

Forum are a thing of past, most people go to Facebook groups, quora, stackflow and reddit. Bhw and a few are rare exceptions.
Having said that there are more chances of success with blog then forum, if you are still not convinced then roll the dice!

I did create a forum in 2014 and failed miserably lol. Blogs are way easier to rank and bank.

I would say the hardest part is not setting up a forum, getting traffic and members is.
So your new forum is empty how you get members within fast time with free traffic like posting good stuff on twitter ?
Back to 2016 some people told that a new forum will get members quickly with twitter....but how is it today in 2023 ?
