When i try to harvest free proxies I get everytime 0 good proxies but i think it has something to do with avast. I tried 5 minutes ago with avast turned of and i got 28 good proxies but i selected only sources 5 and 6 just for test.

this is a tough one
hmmm i wonder if hes getting low proxie
counts as everyone is harvesting the same
6 sources .. answers on a post card.
u cant expect hundreds of people to harvest
the same 6 sources and expect them to work
no way thats gonna happen...
the harvest was a free addon to get u guys going
with all the people owning this tool u people gotta
find your own sources as there arnt enough proxies
to feed hundreds of users on 6 harvested links..
come on people its a simple numbers game

"This new version" did not change the way it behave regarding proxies.
If it tells you that it is retrying (what it can do upto 3 times for a url with another proxy each time), that means, that it could not read the page using your proxy.

It is not "randomly" stopping, is tries to read the page, cannot do that in a specific time, and retries with another proxy. This behavior was requested by user. When all url's are showing "retrying", then you should check your proxies or connection.

It doesnt retry . It stops there and rotate the proxies infinitely ... is truly too slow and it consumes a huge amount of bandwith . I m on proxybonanza and can tell you that one submission to 10000 blogs costs me like 1,5 GB . too much. I hope that they will fix this as sooner is possible.

Greg - Do enough Wordpress commenting and I think you'll see both of these issues.

Another one that's bugging me is that IE7 gets some very annoying popups. The kind that you can't close without hitting OK or Cancel or something a few times. Anyone else get those?

Would disabling javascript or changing IE7 default security for untrusted sites help? I rarely use IE7 anyway.

Here's the Fix for those annoying pop ups like "This page displays both secure and non-secure items"

Check out Tools > Internet Options > Security Tap > Custom Level > Miscellaneous > Display mixed content. By default its set to prompt, reset it to Enable.

There are a few more defaults in here that are set to prompt. Take a look at them and there should fix your pop up problems.

There's nothing worse than setting up a slow posting project, going to sleep for a few hours, and waking up to find out that a pop up stopped your project 5 min after you left it.

Possible Decaptcha Bug

When you start a slow posting accurate mode session, it logs you into decaptcha, if you have it set up to use decaptcha. When it hits a blog that requires decaptcha there's a pop up and it solves the decaptcha.

Twice in a row now it seems as though i somehow got logged out of decaptcha in the middle of a posting session. Instead of getting a pop up to solve the captcha it just shows RESULT = Failed Captcha. No pop up at all to try to solve the captcha. It like the posting starts great with decaptcha then for some reason it disconnects. It still shows the decaptcha balance at the bottom of the screen, but again, it appears that Ive lost that decaptcha connection. The shitty part is that there is no way to log into decaptcha again unless you stop the posting session.

Anyone else have this issue with decaptcha??

I am getting zero success rate on blogengine blogs. does anyone else has experienced the same. when i go to the page manually and comment. it appears automatically. This is happenning on auto approved blogengine blogs. Don't understand if i m doing something wrong or something with the new version of blogengine or scrapebox. An example page would be

Hey, why does SB still show "failed, captcha" on BlogEnginge blogs when DeCaptcher is activated and balance is available?

Just posted to this page, and no issue... make sure your timeout is set high enough, because that page is HUGE.

What is the timeout rate u set. mine is se at default 45 seconds. Also, what does it mean by failed, -1; failed, 0; failed, 500.

I use a timeout of 30 seconds, but have a fast internet connection.
I guess failed -1 or 0 is just an unspecific error code returned.
Error 500 *could* be an internal server error. I saw this error sometimes when browsing BE websites in firefox too.

I have a word to those who are lucky to find auto-approve **************** blogs.

Please!! Keep it to your self!!

Don't post that list anywhere! Or else it'll be hammered by those Dumb Dumb commenters and the Link Value will decrease. Please!!

What will you fix there? If you load 10000 blogurls with each having a size of 100KB then you have a load of 1GB Traffic. And you need to load the blog twice to see if the comment was accepted...
So I dont see what you want to fix...

One thing I would like is if slow posting could be done in the background or a separate window, or queued for later, so that I could continue working and setting up my next blast while it was going on.

I cant complain that it's slow, since that is the point, but the inability to access the main windw while its going on is not my favorite feature.

Your solution would be to copy your scrapeblasterdirectory and open a second instance of sb...

so am I the only one who is having a great success rate with free proxies? You guys gotta learn to tweak the settings and find a sweet spot

Has anyone else noticed a problem with the Proxy Checker if you have a second instance open elsewhere doing some posting?

For whatever reason, the proxy checker is only working for me when it's the only thing happening and is the only instance running.

Minor annoyance but would like to see if other people are able to scrape and check proxies while running post runs.

after te latest upate my fast poster only posted 5 out of 13.000
There's def something wrong ... I use the same settings, the usual rate with proxies about 40-45% but 5 out of 13k?

could that be because you are checking proxies that are already listed and being used by the second instance?

Same here after last update kevin

Is it just me or does Scrapebox sort of pause when you are submitting? I have a 20,000 non duplicate URL/domain list for Wordpress and I have about 300 good proxies but after a while, it just stops and the proxies keep switching, while it says retrying. What is the issue?

It is not just you,the latest version has (may have) a bug.(imho) As soon as i updated it started to hang during fast post after it cycled the proxies a few times. what had been working in runs with the old version did not work after the upgrade. checked the proxy source and all was good.

it is almost like it is logging into the proxy, but not logging out. the proxy gets overloaded and then your stuck.... it cycles thru all of you proxies on a "retry" cycle, but not connect.

i am sure it will get fixed if it is a prob with the sw, and if it is just the proxies getting overloaded then time to find new proxies.;

One thing I noticed is it seems that adult content is excluded from keyword scraping. It would be nice to be able to enable it, I wouldn't have to use Market Samurai to generate keyword lists to scrape adult blog url's.
