its a bit buggy I guess they are working on fixing it .... And by the way I noticed also results were much better before ... I just dont like consuming 1GB of bandwitw for nothing .. I m on proxybonanza ..

I sometimes have problems harvesting proxies as well. What fixes it for me sometimes is cycling your internet connection / router... give it a try and see if it helps.

When i try to harvest free proxies I get everytime 0 good proxies but i think it has something to do with avast. I tried 5 minutes ago with avast turned of and i got 28 good proxies but i selected only sources 5 and 6 just for test.

Will test further and see if avast is responsible also for slow postin rate

There are a few people that post a list of auto-approve blogs... however... the list gets hammered in a matter of a few hours and turns into a spam pit filled with all sorts of nasty links. Posting a big list of auto-approve blogs to the forum isnt the best way to do this.

Too right. I'd love people to be a bit smart about their posts, rather than post to 10k ramdomish blogs with bad comments and hope they stick!

You just copy the 1.12.3 EXE and replace it with the 1.12.5 EXE. Do not replace or copy any other files except for the EXE.

Well if your computer goes to sleep or hibernates then it will not work under those conditions.

Well sorry, I meant the 1.12.3 file. Well I am not sure where to get the 1.2.3 file from. I downloaded it a while ago when I bought it.

And any other modes having issues? Well as long as your computer is not in sleep or hibernation mode then it should work, even if your laptop lid is closed or your computer screen is off.

On the first issue - that looks like the old IE 6.x mixed-mode security warning, a lot of sites (including some of guh-oogle's services and some of M$FT themselves lol) will throw those. If you have IE 6.x installed, upgrade to 7 or 8 and you _should_ stop getting those. If you already have IE7 or 8 I don't know why the frack you're getting those.

Second issue - I've never gotten twitter login prompts, are you trying to post to twitter? Every so often I get the windows security login, it's something set on the site you're trying to post to, just click cancel and move on. It's not an accessible target if its got that on it.

Greg - Do enough Wordpress commenting and I think you'll see both of these issues.

Another one that's bugging me is that IE7 gets some very annoying popups. The kind that you can't close without hitting OK or Cancel or something a few times. Anyone else get those?

Would disabling javascript or changing IE7 default security for untrusted sites help? I rarely use IE7 anyway.

Its just taken scrapebox 2hrs to check PR on 1300 drupal sites.

Never been that sluggish. Was using about 100 public proxy's.

Used to run a lot faster even if I was using fewer proxy's.

I almost hate to say this (again), but if you do your homework (look at the drupal sites) ... it's not that hard to find a working footprint.

I put in the time, trial and error to find good footprints and so should you... sorry if that seems cruel... it's really pretty simple.

I just harvested 3000+ drupal sites with my last try ...

Sorry, I have been getting it honed sharper and sharper and I can't share everything when it's not that hard.

Hmm so I am not the only one with it stopping randomly and showing retrying on every proxy. This new version is not good, I think I might use the older one.

"This new version" did not change the way it behave regarding proxies.
If it tells you that it is retrying (what it can do upto 3 times for a url with another proxy each time), that means, that it could not read the page using your proxy.

It is not "randomly" stopping, is tries to read the page, cannot do that in a specific time, and retries with another proxy. This behavior was requested by user. When all url's are showing "retrying", then you should check your proxies or connection.

I thought I had posted to several thousand blogs, but when I check them using the checker there are only like 20 that actually have my post live.

Since I don't know much about your posts , if they were WordPress, you'll have to wait til most of them are moderated and approved or chunked or marked as spam ...

If they were BlogEngine, it could be timeout settings... I found by giving a larger timeout on slow post I get a HUGE increase in successful posts.

Also BlogEngine 1.6 just came out and a lot of them are moderated now also.
