[Case Study] Launching a Crypto News Site

The big things here are I've increased user duration on site and bounce rate. People are spending more time on my Crypto News blog which means the content is working.

I've yet to add to 2 categories on the site, which I think will tremendously increase the duration and pages per session. I should have those categories started this month.

Next steps:
1) Promote news 1x a week to boost traffic
- Get 10+ visitors daily to site as right now, Im regularly doing 1-digit visitors. The goal is 'add a 0' to the end of those numbers

2) Add content to the 2 empty navigation categories
3) Prepare the first interview questions
4) link my Telegram group from main page of site
5) Add social media share buttons to article page
6) Get 3 back-links to site; Perhaps 1 being an announcement of site launch


Google News Update:
I've not been approved nor denied thus far but my content is ranking faster now.

Good News: Traffic had a nice jump! Cant wait to see what happens now that my SSL certificate has been installed tonight.

A) I just added an SSL certificate (note: used GoDaddy code to get 1-year certificate for $8.99 ; pleasant surprise on that discount)
B) Just got my 2nd writer hired as of today! FEEL Great. About to reach 10+ pages a day quicker.

Progress! Getting close to that goal of double digit posts daily.

My client who's on the S&P 500 gave me information about their brand launching a new Cryptocurrency.
And I've got other news sites that are friends, so they will likely publish and credit back to us.

Already have another BIGGER story to break as well.

Yeah, without writers, Im just not even trying to do it anymore. Its too much competition today to do it any other way unless you're just really stable in life and able to sit and write daily for a year; Your own 9 to 5 hours.

As stated before, I've been wanting to launch a crypto news site with staff.

It's been done now. It's complete and rolling.

Key Factors:
1) Name branding was amazing! I have 'Crypto' in domain name.
For me, it was extremely hard to do this for a .com . Try yourself and see what you can find available. I'd love to see what people come up with name wise.

2) I plan to invest $X,XXX per month in site staff. Dedicated writers. I already have 1. Another has given spoken agreement they will start. Working on a 3rd & 4th. Will likely have 6 people involved in long run.

3) Exclusives: I'm connected with some crypto coin market brand owners and celebrities. Ill have some 100% exclusive interviews that will be only be available on my site and I'll take sites down that violate.

4) As a veteran internet marketer at this point, I know how to get posts distributed all across the web. I know how to get syndication pick-up. And of course include my own site in crypto news on other sites. & More.

5) Will launch social media communities as an added benefit .

Ways to earn:
1) Press Release features
2) Social media promotions
3) Other promotions
4) 1 adsense cube

Early Project Goals:
- 1000 visitors in first month; I was thinking 10 days before but I need to work out bugs pushing content to audience with the potential to go viral
- Keep site free of multiple ads
- Get first 4 writers rolling and consistent

Long-project goals:
- 100k+ visitors monthly Before 2022 ends.

I'm def seeing it's EXTREMELY hard to get content rating on Google internationally; Mainly becase of the site format I've invented and plan to push.

Super challenging.

I'll probably be working for 6 months without even caring about Google Search traffic.

I'm not convinced. That "big" story will be forgot in 3 days and give 0 traffic. So if u get a backlink in a news site u think u move forward but with so many crypto news sites in google news it dont matter. Is like compete where everybody competes. All this effort was much better focused on discord and telegram for crypto niche.

The companies that sell for top dollar, usually don't care about profits initially. They want to be a solution and provide something users need / connect with

I want to connect. I dont even want site ads.

If I can spend money to help some writers sustain a career & build something with thousands of pages of content. I know there will be big reward
