Here's a tip for better comment accepting rate that I found out the other day. If you spin some comments and say in your posting that your first language isn't english for some reason I'm seeing an improvement in comments getting approved. The sympathy play always works well. For example:

"Really Great Posting. Sorry English is not so good please accept my apology. I am from Finland and don't type English so well. I've bookmarked this posting. Thanks!"

Just curious to hear any success stories with SB lately? I've had some small success getting some visitors rapidly with my blasts and links. Anyone else care to share?

@sweetfunny

the harvester seems to have problems with yahoo.
if you use something like-------> inurl: or intitle:
and then you write the keywords in the kewyords field and also choose the tipe of blog you are looking for...the scraper will provide a lot of yahoo results that have no keywords in title and neither inside the url.

what's the reason for this?

aksimet is also catching up fast on the wordpress commenting... do you guys have any tips on this?

Its not a problem with the harvester. Different search engines support different "Search Operators" like "Inurl:". Ive been playing around with a lot of these search operators in the last few days and what I do is go the each search engine, run the search manually and look at the results to figure out if that engine supports the search operator your targeting. If it doesnt support it remove that engine from your harvestor list.

Here is a good list of search operator functions for each engine
Code:

Play around with it and you will understand how to best use these for advanced searches.

It'd be amazing to learn how much money Proxy Bonanza have made as a direct result of ScrapeBox users.

Every time someone is talking about proxies and ScrapeBox they get brought up. Not just on this forum, either!

I just tried the new BE's accurate mode and often got this pop-up which cause SB stop commenting until I click OK.

Anyone has a solution to solve this problem? I don't wanna wait and click every single pop-up.

got my first results in google - over 2000 links to my site in google webmaster. this was only using the program about 7 times, with modest postings. thanks :D

ScrapeBox is not removing domains randomly.
The list of harvested url's will be sorted first, then duplicates removed. This is needed in order to do the duplicate domain removal as quick as possible.

i have to say i think sweetfunny should raise price for new customers preety heavy. around 2 months ago i had 15k places on around 9k domains of wordpress blogs with pr 0-6 autoapproval no captcha. scrapebox came, 2 months later only 300 (!) are still like that, 1k has now captcha, rest are moderated or closed comments.

mayb its a coincidence or maybe too many people are scraping and spamming now due to cheap price of this tool ;)

Just bought this wonderful tool, hope it works as said.
Btw, now I'm waiting for activation.

EDIT: I was activated very fast. :D

Can it be that SB is posting more than once sometimes? Maybe retries because SB cant recognize that the post succeded? In nearly half of the successfuk posts I have more than one post.
I have a couple of urls that are only once in my list and are spammed one time but when I visit the page there are more than one comments. That might work on autoapproved blogs but surely not on moderated.
So what happens? Isnt SB recognizing that the first post was successful and tries to repost?
In future I will uncheck the Thourough comment mode and better repost later on those urls where no comment are found. Maybe that helps.

Hello scrapebox experts. I hope to fall into this category soon.

Here is question 1:

When harvesting free proxies there is normally a list of about 1800 it harvests. Then in step 2 I test the proxies. To test 1800+ proxies it takes a LONG time. So I end up finding 20-30 good ones, aborting the harvest, and then saving those proxies to use.

Am I doing something wrong here? I noticed when I do a complete proxy test it does a second check on the proxies found. Should I select a smaller subset of free proxies to harvest and let it run until its done or what??????

Question 2 -

Is anyone having good success with the new captcha feature? Do tell! I think I saw that its $2 per 1000 captchas so Im not sure its cost effective.

Question 3 -

Should it really take 1 hour to check the pagerank on 10,000 harvested URL's? Im kind of new to scrapebox and each task is taking longer than I had expected. My harvesting, pageranking, posting, etc... is all taking a really long time.

Thanks all... Im getting much better at using this software and hope to add some value to this thread soon.

well this is not what it is doing for me.
i got my list and ordered it for PR. there were some duplicate domains...
scrapebox removed some with the higher PR.

Is there any automatic way to remove low PR blogs? Doing it manually when I get 1000+ urls harvested takes forever.

You even dont have the time to let the proxies check? It only takes some minutes...
And yes you should let the check run through because it checks if your ip is save or not with them.
If you harvest and clean up duplicates before checking its a bit faster too. And you should set the connections high for more speed. timeout leave as is.

Till now I didnt even find one blog that uses captcha so my account is still full at decaptcha.

For more speed set the connections higher if your internet can afford it.

I dont know an automatic way, but what I do is:

Choose the EXPORT URLS and Pagerank button
This lets you choose pr? to pr 10 (I export all pr0 to pr1 to a file saved as lowprblogs.txt)

Then I click export url and pr again, and export pr 2 to pr10 to another file (name it whatever)

then clear the list, and import back in only the high pr sites.

On #1 - no you're not doing anything wrong. The free proxies do take awhile to test, esp. since SF added the add'l proxy sources. But the add'l proxy sources upped the # of working free proxies SB finds. And the tests are definitely worth running if you're going to use the free proxies. They chuck out all the dead proxies and test the actual anonymity of the proxies. So running the test is something of an investment in time - if you use them untested, they will be WAY slow as SB cycles thru all the dead proxies looking for a live on to use for what it's doing. And untested ones will be very unsecure, causing ban hammers to rain down from the sky and your commenting spree to blow goats.

The free proxies are useful for scraping, testing PR and the like, and you could try harvesting from fewer proxy sources if you want it to go faster, but obviously you'll get less proxies that way.

#2 - I am having kick-ass success between the slow accurate mode and decaptcher support. Not sure which of those two factors is the most significant, but where the old slow mode usually gave me 10-20% success, the accurate mode + decapcther is averaging around 70-90% success. Amazing.

#3 - yes, PR checking seems slow, that's partially going to be because you're using the free proxies. They're nice b/c they're free, but they are getting the holy hell pounded out of them by us SB freetards lol. The free proxies are gonna be slow, but they're free, I think the line for refunds starts out back lol. Is joke. I think PR is also slow due to some limitation in the Big G API on speed.

I usually launch one instance of SB and start it on a "slow" operation like checking PR or Alive or Alexa rank, then start another instance of SB and start scraping or commenting.

by the way. When you use a bloglist with containing pr the list is sorted from high pr to low pr. So first the high pr-blogs are posted to.
