This is a goldmine!
Maybe a moderator could pin this thread as a sticky in this category because I'm sure it will help a lot of people
What a great guide!
Bookmarked!

I appreciate the support guys! I'm glad you found the information useful.

I may ask a supermod/admin if they think it would be a good idea to pin this thread in this section, as there are 3-4 recommendations for a pin in the thread already.

Cheers!

Great post
Glad I could help!

Update:
The thread has been updated to include page load speed & some sources underneath the "indexing links" section on how to analyze & improve your speed.

Last week I was reading again your first guide.

Thank you for this impressive post !

Well, I hope I made the transition from my first guide to this new guide as smooth as possible.

I know I'm not the best teacher, but I think I put together a good starting point.

Cheers!

Update: A couple days ago, website/page load speed links/resources were added in underneath the indexing section of this thread. I left them out by mistake.

Cheers!

This is just so great. I am totally a newbie when it comes to SEO. Never tried the practice before.
I went through the part 1 as well as the part 2 and to be honest I'm completely overwhelmed. Too many detailed information and too many things to practice and learn.

I not only bookmarked this post, I also downloaded it . I will have to be checking here from time to time to stay in line with your recommendations as well as get updates.

And... I could go on and on to thank you for this and how much stress you've relieved me of. BUT let me halt for now.
Thanks

I'm glad I could help. However, don't take too much information in at one time. There's no rush and SEO really is a game of patience.

If you have questions, you're more than welcome to post them here or shoot me a message.

Cheers.

Thanks again. I will definitely do that.

I wanted to mention one more thing to you in terms of link building.

You'll first want to set up social media links for the website. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc. Start out with some retweets and maybe some tweets/FB posts that are relevant to your industry & buy some fake retweets/shares/likes.

After that, you'll want to start setting up some web 2.0's, go with all of the top web 2.0 websites (there are plenty of lists around, easily Googleable or check my first BH SEO thread). That should get you started and should take you a few weeks.

I just wanted to catch you up on that part as it's not in this thread.

Cheers & good luck! :)

Much appreciated.

Link building is something that may be more challenging to me. The reason being that I have never done any form of link building outside social media before.

So far I have started doing some keyword research to get a list of rank-able keywords just as you have recommended here.

Once I have few posts created, I will move on to the link building section.

Thanks again Sir.

And please, just so you know, more questions will be coming up

It just takes experience over time. You'll get the hang of it. Once you do, you'll see how easy it is. Link building isn't difficult, it's tedious.

It helps to let your domain age a few weeks before you start sending backlinks. Post content casually for 3-4 weeks and then start creating the actual backlinks.

Social media & drip-fed upvotes/twitter retweets/facebook likes you can start doing within the first 2-3 weeks.

Some start going all out with content, backlinks, and social media the first week, but I feel that looks unnatural.

Good luck, this thread will be here if you have any questions! :)

Wow, thanks for taking the time on writing this post man!

Not a problem! Glad I could help!
