Changing Language of the website will affect SEO

Hi there,

I have one website in which i started getting 1k users per month now. When i created the website that time i have optimised the website with local language and did backlinks also with the same language now i am planning to change it in english language so will the affect my SEO ?

Your goal is to change the keywords you're ranking for, how can it not change your SEO?

Definitely will effect your seo, we just don’t know if it will hurt or help it.

Actually with same i already have one site which is in english language and that performed well. When i created this website that time i thought if it will be in local language it will perform better but it didn't happen so i am wondering to change all content in english.

The problem is majority of your current audience was built with other languages. So it’s almost like starting from scratch if you change everything to English. But I say go with your gut
