Vanity name Checker showing available these tumblr url, but these are not available on tumblr for registration.

This is a bit tricky, the Vanity Name Checker visits the blog you load for example https://thevartist.tumblr.com in your list. And as you can see it shows it's not registered and should be available. It's not until you login to a Tumblr account, and then try to create a new blog it wont let you likely because that particular blog was used and banned before.

So the addon is not designed with this in mind, it's not a blog registration tool. On top of that when i try and make a new blog i get a recaptcha where i have to click all the images with a bus and so on. So it's a lot of work for a small percent of blogs on just one of the 25 platforms the Vanity Checker covers unfortunately.

I bought the Mac version about a year ago give or take. I don't use SB that much, but when I need it I need it.

Went to fire it up yesterday and it just shuts down immediately. It'll open and search for updates or whatever, but within a few second it shuts down.

I got an issue with my license... purchased yesterday then waited till today then it started working. Was working all day but when I closed the program and reopened its now asking for license details again as shown below

Wonder why everytime I close the program I need to wait 12 hours or whats going on? Trans ID is xxxxxxxxxx

I've just looked in to this. You sent a license activation which was activated, then you sent a license transfer to move the license to another machine the same day and this was also processed. It says it "may" take up to 12 hours, but neither your activation or license transfer took anywhere near this long. We sent you emails after both the license activation and the license transfer.

Also please edit the Transaction ID from your post.

Also just another reminder to everyone to ensure you backup your License Email and Transaction ID and keep this info secure.

Your Transaction ID is no different to a license key or serial number. So you need to back it up in the same way you store all your other software license codes, and it's required to reset your license any time you reinstall your operating system or change machines. Cheers.

Sweetfunny.. Okay I think the issue is the company I work at someone must not of known the license can only be used on one PC and they must of tried to activate it as well.. I will talk internally but for now I am requesting it back to my pc.

Update: My boss said he tried it yesterday that is why the license was transferred to his pc he was unaware it can only be activated on one PC at a time so I just re-requested access again.

Not really man. They've been in contact suggesting ideas but it's 24-48 hours for a response so I'm getting nowhere. Basically attempting to crawl boostmobile[dot]com with Alive Check. Export 404s and run the backlink check. However when running the alive check the software stops at 20 crawls every time. I also see the connection go up to 20. I can use other add ons to crawl the site but not alive check.

I'm on Mac, and they told me that connections for alive check weren't available on the mac. In the last response, they gave me some changes to make to one of the .ini files. Haven't had a chance to implement it.

I think the connections are the problem and the crawl happens too fast. However on the mac version there are no settings to slow the crawl speeds. There's only a "Setup" button in alive check and you can only pick which server code you want to label as ALIVE and set custom user agents. I've tried many custom user agents to no avail.

EDIT: Apologies, I forgot my post here was about the license. They did in fact resolve that. I ended up buying another license anyway while I was waiting.

So please give the latest version a shot, and hopefully it works on that site a bit better.

Is there a way to change computers by exporting the data from my working machine? I still have access to the computer SB works on but I gave it to a friend and want to use SB on my current computer. I am not sure if I still have the info because I havent transferred my license in like 6 or more years and I just have no clue if I have the tx id saved. Great tool ! TYVM

I just checked both sites in a browser and fried my retinas. And i checked using ScrapeBox and both sites are working perfectly, we have not made any changes or updates in the last few days. It's possible you or the proxies you are using are being temp blocked from the site. If you are using proxies try just a 1 level scrape without them, or alternatively if you are not using proxies try a decent private proxy. I can only assume sites like that get tons of hits from free proxies and block them.

If you go to Help > About you can view the email address associated with your license. However the Transaction ID won't be shown here. You will have to obtain it from either PayPal, or your inbox assuming you didn't delete the PayPal receipt email, or get it from your backups, or we can resend it to the purchase email address.

I will buy a second copy just to help you out in the near future. LOL its so old that now I speak to my ex wife after YEARS of fighting and it was her email/paypal that I paid with back when we were together! She doesnt have access to that email anymore its been so long. SB is hands down my favorite software and I have referred many people who bought it over the years

With the proxies, generally speaking good proxies aren't cheap and cheap proxies aren't good. But it really depends on what you need them for. For doing huge volume where accuracy isn't a big concern like harvesting as many URLs as humanly possible then back connect proxies are hard to beat. But for things requiring accuracy like the Alive Checker where a proxy returning an error can mark the site as dead when it's not then you definitely want good private proxies.

That addon also has settings to adjust the connect timeout, read timeout and to add a delay if required like when checking numerous URLs from the one website.

need to do this for several pages from the same site and all the pages looks similar...with the site in blue color and also same tld (e.g .de).

The page looks like https://mysite.com/example1/website.htm - which redirects after 30 sec to the site which is showed in plain text.

I'm trying to figure out a footprint so I can extract the link using Scrapebox link extractor plugin but I don't really know what to fill in the "custom useragent" in order to be able to get the link

Unfortunately no, most features in ScrapeBox use sockets which won't render the javascript on the maps pages.

It's really difficult to say without knowing the site, there's a lot of different ways to redirect to another page or domain. So without looking at the page i can't say if it can be done. But if you turn javascript off and view the source code of that page do you see the domain that's it's redirecting to?
