[Journey] Programmer cracking instagram. Sharing pics and videos from Korea.

Well, I have been seeking the black hat community for a while now,
looking at various posts on how to crack instagram, mobile proxies, and so on...

I tried some myself as I am a trained programmer with a full time job at a mid startup company in korea.

Although I am skilled enough to program what i need,
I seem to be lacking the patience and consistency to do so.

So, I decided to post my journey and share to keep my train going.



This is my setup.

Quite simple isn't it?

Just a intel nuc with a cheap smartphone attatched to it.

I used adb (android device bridge) to switch the lte on and off.
And the phone is connected as usb tethering to use as internet.

I am currently using chrome and selenium as my automation browser.

Currently created about 10 accounts today cuz Im lazy and my company has late night shifts.... f*ck them....
I will be adding 10 accounts every day, whenever I can. No guarantees.

Ordered a used 2TB usb storage to screen record what is happening cuz Im lazy to fix bugs and program exceptions.
Automation tests will start after the recording setup is done.

The program I created will do random activities in instagram.
The program has a random but higher chance to follow others if the follow button available.
Which is limited to about 5~10 follows per account.
I will find out the best setup as I go along. cuz I am expecting a lot of accounts to be banned in this process.

Will try to post at least twice a week.
Also no guarantees.

Phone network providers has a pool of ipv4 or ipv6 ips that you can rotate by just turning your lte on and off.

Some may have a single ip, it differs on what provider you have.

Account creation is hard, you may find after creating X accounts on the same phone, you will get Captcha + ban

I recommend iPhone to create accounts, Instagram can't detect root on iphones but they can on Android

Or you can factory reset after account creation to get New Device ID

Good luck mate. I think you could just root the phone to be able to toggle lte or plane mode

Goodluck, i did this to i used app cloner and made bot to automate creating accounts works like a charm + exporting the cookies .
Made a scraper to scrape usernames.
Made phone bot with random activity's made it wait 24hour wait after block to continue , made all those but after a while one account was getting hit they all were getting block.
even though after each instagram app with different footprint and different ip starting to get to much block. I think they did not like the rotating ip to much lol

I think iphones all have the same footprints.
That's because iPhone users are clones.

Theoretically yes, but insta has many ways to find cheaters, not only the footprint and IP.

It seems a bit too easy at this time to create a new acc or is it just me...

I just used the lte network on my phone, and a chrome browser with a new profile.

Browsers can not get your phone Device id. Only apps can.
You are automating instagram within the app? maybe?

No root needed to toggle lte. Just plug it on debugging mode and

adb shell svc data enable

and bammm!

I am also a bit skeptical about cracking instagram with selenium.

Browsers with web drivers attached can be easily tracked down with a simple line of js code.
I tried surpassing most detection methods but I am not sure I did enough.
We don't know what Zuck has up his sleeves. As he refers us as 'Dumb f*cks.'

My main account succeed in automating followers btw.
Followed 5000 accounts and got back about 500.
But this account is more than 3 years old, with a phone verification.
So I don't know if my plan will work.

Trial and error I guess.

Added another 10 accounts today. Manual labor sucks!



Also planning to create a simple monitoring tool for my accounts.

Data visualization is key in projects like this.
I need a wider view of what is going on,
this way, I can get a glimpse of what went wrong and change accordingly.

I didn't even started automation the first 10, So this might be over-engineering.
I will just think about it for now. If things seems a bit optimistic after the first test, I will be making this.
Just food for thought.
