All Google Cares About Is This.

I can vouch for the expired domain. Bought a 20 year old domain and it has stood against many updates though other sites that were giving better info and following all other parameters, and built on new domain tanked for god-knows-what-reason...

I have been observing Google indexing patterns and experimenting with different kinds of websites lately.
I came to the conclusion that all Google cares About is:

(Domain Age + Original Content + Backlinks).

and that is all folks!.

SEO Optimizations + Speed Optimization + Quality Content + All that BS and nonsense "Google Updates" is not what google is looking for, other search engines are swifter than google into recognizing those things, although google is the one with the so many "Google Updates!" being released, talking about how they will deindex the sites who don't follow the new standards!.

I have a website that is not even SSL, It uses HTTP :D , The theme is from 1997!, optimization plugins etc "Is There Such A thing!?", all this website has is unique gibberish content "Well Not gibberish - gibberish, but no formatting, no styling, no worry about article length etc".

And it is ranking on the top of the page for it's keyword, and google indexes it swiftly.

So, if you ever want to build a website and rank it on google, just purchase an old domain, and make sure the content is unique, no matter if it serves people or bots. it will get indexed fast and be on the top of the search page.

A question that I think no one has the answer to, is what if we bombard Blackhat SEO backlinks on a website ? Will google deindex the site ? IF yes, then who says the owner of the site has created the backlinks ? one could create balackhat SEO Backlinks on a competitor website, so how does google deal with this matter ?
Are you traying to say that google algorithms are all bullshit?

you guys are forgetting, google is just another corporation, and while you all are free to do what you please, google is also free to do the same, right? as time goes, people like you crack this and that little piece of google algorithm's puzzle, and start using it and maybe abusing it, and google's people, as with any other website that's being abused, are trying to close off some holes they think are not benefiting them while possibly being exploited..

I have a 16 year old domain.. it has lots of pages, lots of real genuine content by users.. it's an old torrent tracker. it has almost zero organic traffic, and what it does - is the brandname keyword... ae you saying that in 4 years it will strike popularity and all of a sudden traffic will flow? that;d be nice

As long as there are such websites.
For example, https://sturtstreetcellars.com/ ranked for 500k Keywords. Still has 45K organic traffic

I no longer bother to use whitehat methods.
Can you imagine how much the site owner earns with his generated site?

$$$$
Dude has 1350 sitemaps  I haven't made that much all my sites combined.

16 year old domain is wonderful, but there are a lot of other variables as well, not just the age, like SPAM SCORE, AUTHORITY SCORE, BACKLINKS THE DOMAIN HAS, ETC. if the domain is 16 years old and have good scores with these mentioned SEO Metrix, then it shall strike popularity with in months and not 4 years!, there are exceptions in here as well, because some niches are a no no for me as they are under the radar of search engines more than other niches. I am not sure if torrent sites are one of those, but I think, sites that has to do with Torrent, Movies Porn, Games, Softwares etc are more harder to rank and trickier.

Different niches have different rules I guess, the old domain is the first good step on all niches and it is not just every other old domain but "good old domain" was what I was referring to.

Hi,

Is golden key just old domain?
As I mentioned in the above reply, the old domain alone has it's own metrics to measure if it is good enough or not, let alone other things not mentioned.

with that being said, to answer your question "Just Old domain" is not "THE golden key", but rather one of the Golden keys.

I don't think that this is all google cares about, but for 95% of SEO cases, this is good enough...

As you said, I am also going to do what ever the hell I want.

I am also looking towards Amazon ads, and might as well migrate from that stupid Adsense ads, if amazon has an automatic way of displaying ads all over my website just like google does that would be an instant migration for me, but all I could find with amazon ads has to do with choosing specific products and then adding them to my site which is a lot of manual work for me at the moment, but time will come.

any other adsense alternative suggestions would be appreciated, anyone.
Adthrive and Ezoic ads would be fine for you

I see.. basically it's all up to G.O.D.
thanks for the good news =)

Thank you so much. This gives me basic idea of many "tips and tricks" out there that actually not proven.
Have a nice day!

To answer your questions:

1. Yes pretty much. Backlinks - Original Content - Domain Age in that order of importance. But SEO is everything and anything. It's a generic term, and it includes those tactics you mentioned.

But when we talk about Backlinks, pay attention to the DA, DR score of the backlinks as it counts A Lot. A DA 95 do-follow backlinks with topical relevancy worth a lot more than 20k Da 5 to 10 links.

For Original Content yes, it will rank but for the keyword gibberish if you put that word in your article enough times. We think of it as "keyword difficulty". The higher the keyword difficulty, the harder it is to rank for that particular keyword, meaning it's a lot hard to create content that Google think is "original". And Original doesn't mean that you have to go out there and write a completely new article, but just that you need an article that have a low plagiarism score. And the higher the keyword difficulty the more the number of high quality backlink is needed to vouch for that page for Google to consider it as "unique content". And ya if your keyword difficulty is 5 out of 100, I bet it's really easy to get ranked in a day or two. If it's over 50, you might need 20 to 50 backlinks depending on how competitive it is.

How do I scrape a piece of content that rank from the internet and have a low plagiarism score? You type the keyword, you then copy the content, paste it on a rewrite tool like quillbot, wola you have a piece of "original content". Now note that quillbot free has a character limit of 400, the paid one has a limit of 10,000 characters, and also the highest degree of rewrite is exclusive for pay members. The monthly fee around $20 USD I believe.

For domain age, ya it's a factor, not a big factor. An old domain with DA 5 won't do you any good. You need an old domain with 50+ DA score. There are services on fiverr, and some sites that sells old expired domains. I suppose you can also purchase it from some vendors here in the forum.

As for what will happen if a Huge amount of very low quality, like DA 0.5 or so backlinks to your site, like a million links or so? It's called Hotlinking, a blackhat SEO tactics to destroy a competitor.

Like google negative review, unfortunately you will need to pay to have it removed. Luckily it's a little easier for hotlinking as google has disavow backlinks tool, and it's also available on Semrush, there are also paid services you can purchase to have hotlinking fixed. What happen is that the hotlinking will reduce your DA, DR score, and thus, have a reduced Google crawling budget. So yes SERP rank of your site will decrease, it will also increase your spam score, and have the weigh of your site reduced, i.e. making your site a little more difficult to find. And if spamming score is too high, your site will be deindexed, but you will receive warning on your google search console, so ya you Will know for sure.

I agree to OP. Google's index has become terrible over years. My site is a live example. It was built with hard work, excellent content that none of my competitors matched. The site is amazingly well optimized even for the most recent Page Experience algo. But wait, Google loves a competitor that copies from me and another site in the same niche. The competitor uses some kind of spinning tool with much of the information he gives is factually incorrect.

What else? There is another site that gives barely 10 to 15 facts with most of the content copied and pasted from different sources (majorly wikipedia) and even they rank higher.

Worst of all, my site is repeatedly hit with negative SEO as I keep seeing link farms linking to my site so very often. Then there are sudden spikes in traffic to the count of 300-400 visitors a minute with 100% bounce rate. There was a day when I received 28,000 visits in just 2 hours - all with 100% bounce rate and 1 second session duration. All hitting the homepage or maximum of first three articles!

From the time I started noticing such activities on my site, I also noted how one particular competitor gained traffic while I kept losing. Today, that competitor has over a million backlinks (mostly Web 2.0), over a 100,000 visitors a month and it earns big. My site, on the other hand, dropped from nearly 150,000 monthly traffic to a puny 12,000 a month even though its content is excellent and well-researched and the website has green ticks for all core web vitals!

So, Google's indexing isn't really something I can care about anymore! Google can't even see and differentiate negative SEO. 2014 to 2021 - all these years of hard work is now gone! So yes, even if you have horrible content, Google will rank you up as long as you have millions of backlinks (doesn't matter where the come from) and you are not hit by negative SEO. Google doesn't care about your good content - AT ALL!

Let me do some experiments then. Thanks for sharing this.

You make your site ultra FAST - So you get better/more conversions/slightly less bounce
You write Great content - So you can help the visitor, but most importantly sell whatever the thing you are promoting on your website
You Make great/smooth design - So More people actually link to your website naturally & You even get some natural traffic from that...

You don't really do it for google...
Post length doesn't really matters that much, specially for google now, In fact you need to write the same helpful info in as less words as possible, helps with user engagement/sales..
No one has time to read an 4k word article about some generic stuff which can be explained and covered extremely well in 1k words.

Google is a Robot, and not a very advanced one , not like they want you to believe..
It's still easy to rank with garbage, however your conversions/long term growth will also be garbage if all you have is garbage content on a garbage website that takes 20seconds to load....

Hello, may be you can drop me a PM or something? Ya I think I can help. But if you want to do it yourself, you can.

1. Purchase a backlinking service ASAP from fiverr, someone here, you need a lot of high DA links to your site.

2. Disavow poison backlink on semrush or use google disavow backlink tool.

3. Purchase "link juice" service and link it to the CID of your competitor google map, homepage, and product pages. Ah these are all 0.5 DA score or lower spammy links, the going rate around 5 to 6 usd for 1 million backlinks, hit him with 10 to 20 Million garbage links. Usually I won't do it, but if the competitor kick the hornet net, then game on. Ya your competitor will be trashed.

4. Hotlinking all the images on their homepage to pornsite and casino sites. Then google will label the site as 18+ only and involves nudity, gambling, etc... you got the idea. Hotlinking is basically sending very very bad links to the url of their pictures. Google will then associate those pictures with porn and gambling as you got a million porn site link to it.

Well, thats promising. I have left my site inactve for 2-3 years starting to add content again. Was wondering where to begin with linkbuilding. Looks like it doesnt really matter.

No man backlinking is EVERYTHING. You can copy your competitor content 100%, and use a rewrite tool to spin it around in 5 seconds on quilbot, the page will still rank. So don't throw in the towel, build amazing content. The thing is I can write a page in jewblish and it will still rank on google on the keywords of my choice.

But hey what's the use? Your goal is conversion, right? Bringing customers to your site only to discover that it's junk, and leave immediately, what's the use?

I mean I can only take the customer to your shop man, and if you shop sells junk, no one will buy from you, right?

Let's say you tried sp4mmed someone website with low quality links go0gle will eventually detect it next crawl cycle but it will not act instantly most of the cases (targeted a low risk site, etc ...); this will give the targeted site webmaster some time to act against your links by not claiming them (I do remember there is something called links disav0wal) and may act against you as well (there is many intelligence tools/service out there)

Therefore if and only if the webmaster is doing his job correctly you will not be able to harm them.
Just study the circumstances of your tactic and act accordingly.
I totally agree with you, but this also makes me wonder can you just keep building sp0mmy backlinks for your website and the moment g00gle tells you that you have sp4ammy ones you just go and disav0w the ones that you think alerted google and continue your normally building more back links?
