I have been observing Google indexing patterns and experimenting with different kinds of websites lately.
I came to the conclusion that all Google cares About is:

(Domain Age + Original Content + Backlinks).

and that is all folks!.

SEO Optimizations + Speed Optimization + Quality Content + All that BS and nonsense "Google Updates" is not what google is looking for, other search engines are swifter than google into recognizing those things, although google is the one with the so many "Google Updates!" being released, talking about how they will deindex the sites who don't follow the new standards!.

I have a website that is not even SSL, It uses HTTP :D , The theme is from 1997!, optimization plugins etc "Is There Such A thing!?", all this website has is unique gibberish content "Well Not gibberish - gibberish, but no formatting, no styling, no worry about article length etc".

And it is ranking on the top of the page for it's keyword, and google indexes it swiftly.

So, if you ever want to build a website and rank it on google, just purchase an old domain, and make sure the content is unique, no matter if it serves people or bots. it will get indexed fast and be on the top of the search page.

A question that I think no one has the answer to, is what if we bombard Blackhat SEO backlinks on a website ? Will google deindex the site ? IF yes, then who says the owner of the site has created the backlinks ? one could create balackhat SEO Backlinks on a competitor website, so how does google deal with this matter ?

yep, I've said it many times that all these updates about optimization and stuff are smoke and mirrors... and I'll stand behind my statement. For ultra competitive and big money keywords those optimizations might matter, but for most keywords it doesn't. I don't even follow up with google's retarded updates anymore and I do whatever the hell I want. If I, TAZARBM, personally think that my content, design and whatever else benefits my visitors I will go with it and that's all that matters to me, and I couldn't care less about google's retarded manipulation. They're gonna rank me, fine! If not, no problem: spamdexing and spamming FTW. People need to stop playing by google's rules cause google is not God to decide what my visitors should like, or not like

I don't even use caching plugins anymore, or speed and image optimization plugins and all that crap...

As you said, I am also going to do what ever the hell I want.

I am also looking towards Amazon ads, and might as well migrate from that stupid Adsense ads, if amazon has an automatic way of displaying ads all over my website just like google does that would be an instant migration for me, but all I could find with amazon ads has to do with choosing specific products and then adding them to my site which is a lot of manual work for me at the moment, but time will come.

any other adsense alternative suggestions would be appreciated, anyone.

bit scary not to focus on on-site optimization. on my side, on-site optimization still makes a difference.

Google is pretty crazy. It looks its AI is losing its shit. My friend got a manual penalty on his high-traffic website IN GSC .for selling links.

The traffic remained constant for several months after the penalty notice and after this last update, his AdSense income and traffic increased by a good amount.

Google algorithm cannot detect the nature of link nor it can detect link schemes. Otherwise, it was very easy to do negative SEO for any website in the world and drop its rankings.

Google may nullify the effect of backlinks for that website but it cannot take action against the target website with surety

The frequent updates which google is publishing in its algo have more to do with marketing and positive promotion and to hide the fact that google algo is and will remain primitive when it comes to understand and rank billions of websites.

who knows several updates may be silently reverted by google
 
I would not say that everything is as simple as described in the very first post of this thread, but the principle is that the content should be not only original, but also long and useful, since now long useful content can go much faster into the search tops + you need to get backlinks from very trustworthy sites.

As someone who is unsure if this is a good or bad thing. Are you saying BHW backlinks such as T-Ranks, that are in a few peoples sigs on this post, are probably a bad idea? or a good idea?

I've got the old domain, and unique content part already done for a local business. Just looking for the backlinks part, but I'm never sure what's going to boost my rankings vs thank them.

All this topics is true for ultra competitive and big money keywords, but for other websites/keywords just I have mentioned in the post, the example website has no long posts , barely 400 words while the minimum recommendation from most SEO plugins is 600 words or what ? some users including you I guess from your statement, usually suggest above 1200 words in the forum.

(Black Hat World - The Forum) Has many backlink services in the marketplace, some of them are unique and has very good reviews although I have not yet tried my self, but would like to in the future.

by using the word Black Hat SEO , I was not referring to the Forum, but rather the method of using tools such as bots, software or other automated tools that are faster to do the job but are not advised to use since they can bring both good or bad results.

the forum has SEO services in the marketplace, by using both methods Black Hat SEO / White Hat SEO, I am not sure if @T-ranks Is a service that has white hat method or black hat method.

Always be cautious of black hat methods, and never try on your money making sites.

Appreciate all of this.

I've tried a few of the services in the past (Sarakar and Crowdo), but I couldn't really tell if they helped. Maybe I didn't spend enough? Maybe the page was already ranked #4.

Any suggestions to rank in local pack 3, other than the usual stuff like having a GMB and citations everywhere matching it?

This is not the only website. I have seen many of these or similar. Generated bullshit

What the operators finally do is:

Buy a good domain an Expired domain
- Maybe some PBN OR Massive Link building package
- Generate the articles with GPT-2/3 OR just spun them

Rank & Bank

Let's say you tried sp4mmed someone website with low quality links go0gle will eventually detect it next crawl cycle but it will not act instantly most of the cases (targeted a low risk site, etc ...); this will give the targeted site webmaster some time to act against your links by not claiming them (I do remember there is something called links disav0wal) and may act against you as well (there is many intelligence tools/service out there)

Therefore if and only if the webmaster is doing his job correctly you will not be able to harm them.
Just study the circumstances of your tactic and act accordingly.
 
don't over judge something without making sure it's true,
many spamming websites do have success and get their way to climb the SERPs easily and some of them do rank for years already and bank pretty hard,
that doesn't necessarily mean you can rank easily in any niche & keyword using some crappy content, poorly optimised website even if you do have a strong link profile
