NitroWP is a SAAS-based service. The minification and such will be done on the developer's server, so this plugin cannot be added.

So @Festinger my man gave A LOT of freebies out and he's at least worthy of an honest review.

So here it goes,

First of all the signup, download, and install process with the keys, etc goes very smoothly and is easy to understand and use. The app/theme library is awesome and pretty straightforward to use and auto-install plugins. I would try to improve on the following things to get a much better UX:

1. Automate the updating plugins to their latest versions without having the users request for it via the plugin, this saves time, manual work and improves UX greatly.
2. Add tags to each item to allow for a more flexible search experience. The current search status is very good don't get me wrong it can just allow for more flexibility.
3. Add other sorting options instead of installs/downloads. Like last updated, released date, etc.
4. WordPress requests can also be done better via the plugin instead of posting a new thread and having to look for it and count it in.

It is definitely a very good plugin and I mean the content you get for that price is just not beatable. Nevertheless, since I feel you have put a lot of effort into this, those are my few remarks in order to make UX a bit better and maybe your life too.

I think Festinger should have asked for subscriber opinions before embarking on this huge update. I am a web developer and I use these plugins and themes for low budget clients who can't afford premium plugins.
I feel much more comfortable downloading the plugins I need and installing them on the sites. Some clients don't even want to have the Festinger plugin on their backend for various reasons.

I decided to continue using the old website for the time being, today when I tried accessing old.festinger, It was locked with a password. My first attempt to use the Festinger plugin had issues and I couldn't download the plugin I wanted.

I am a lifetime member and I am kindly requesting Festinger to consider re opening the old model for those of us who are not comfortable with this new model.

Life was so much easier when I could just visit festinger, type in the plugin I need, Download to my PC and upload to the website where it's needed.

You also have to spend time white labelling if you don't want the client to know the plugin was downloaded from festinger, very stressful.

I replied to your message. This is how our system works:
If you send in the exact version number, our API checks the developer's website for a new update.
Most developers don't provide a solution to auto-update from their developer's website, so in this case, we're sending a request to their server to see if the new requested version number matches with the one installed.

You'll have to create an account with them and after that, all the premium features are available.

I appreciate the fact you took the time to let me know how you feel about the new update. To be honest, it was a HUGE change for me too.
Approx. 95% of my clients requested a better solution for the old automatic update plugin. Due to the limitations of this old plugin, I had to redevelop the entire system in order to keep providing more frequent updates and a more better and stable platform.
Switching to a complete plugin-based solution gives the WordPress admin more control about future updates and due to the recent lack of hacks (zero-days hacks, and so on), it was a highly requested feature in order to keep files up to date.
In our previous system, you had to manually keep an eye on every update and with our current system, you don't have to bother even about that.

I can understand if the new plugin feels 'new' - but I want to make sure: our code is 100% clean and can be used on client's websites without any problem.
I've integrated the white label feature to allow web agencies to use the plugin on client's websites. Also - the plugin is used on MANY PBN networks, without any issue.. if you run about 100 websites, install the plugin and everything is done automatically.
And given my reputation here at BHW: providing malicious code with my service, will be the end of my business, so I will NEVER do that.
