I started working a little late today but I got most of the tasks I had set out to do done.
So I spent 2 Hrs 30mins uploading 21 articles to my second site and fixing titles. I still have a few more left and 6 more articles to upload to the main site.
A few of my keywords dropped out of the top 3 (maybe 4) but I think it's because I tweaked the pages. I think they'll bounce back shortly so I'll keep watching and see what happens.

A few more days like this and I can say I had a great month.

I run them through surferseo and match it against my competitors. I also have a few secret techniques I gathered through experience and from other SEOs that work very well. But the basics are to just use surfer and optimize the density and missing words.
215 posts is a lot and it'll take you about 4 days to complete so many if you focus on just that. But I feel the effort is worth as much as an extra $500-$800 a month from your site.

One of my top-ranking pages is having some issues where the CSS for the page seems to be broken. It works fine through my default browser, but when I scan it with gtmetrix, or in incognito or another browser the page is broken.
It's the only page with this issue, no other pages seem to be like this and I've got no clue how to fix it.
I've uninstalled plugins, cleared cache, remove wp rocket settings etc,. Does anybody have any ideas on how to troubleshoot page-specific CSS issues?

Got through the entirety of all 57 pages of this gigantic value filled journey and here's a big hats off to you @Bloooop ! Update - End of January
Another month over in the blink of an eye. Sometimes you just don't realize how fast time moves until it's gone.
I started the year with grand plans and I think I've done a good job. I can't say it was my best effort but this month has honestly been one of my most productive ones yet.
I've seen the benefits of consistent effort on small tasks that don't seem like much right now for myself. And have seen it play out through other peoples' journeys like @Kikerinka(congrats for the milestone). So I know putting in a steady effort to add content on a steady basis is a viable way to succeed.
To date, I've never invested heavily in links.
At most I've only bought 12 niche edit links. And I've never gone out and actively built any either.
But I know that they work and I won't ever discredit them. In fact, I'd rather buy links than wait months to see results since, like most humans, I crave instant gratification. However, slow and steady wins the race as I've managed to avoid any serious issues with any of my personally built sites.
Not that nothing will ever or won't happen but I'd rather be safe and have consistent growth than fast growth that tanks shortly after. For now!
After I've sold this main site for some six-figure payday I'll keep going slowly. But once I do I'll have more leeway to play around with different strategies and take risks to grow sites faster.
Now let's talk about last month...
I put in a good effort to stay consistent on weekdays where I've been on the computer all day from 7 AM till 9 PM most days.
With that, I should've worked for 120 dedicated hours this month but based on my Pomodoro App stats, I've only worked for 58.
However, I only started tracking my work with it on the 7th so that should've still been 102 hours. But I had days where I was away from home.
Still, I got more done than any other month. And achieved better results from all the work done too.

I built the site in December 2019 and added the first 6 articles in January 2020 then in June 2020 I bought 8 articles and uploaded them. So until this month, I've completely ignored this site but the growth it had was very good considering this site has no links and such a small amount of articles.

And the earnings are pretty good too. I barely spent $150 on content for those results so the ROI is far better than most other types of investments I've come across.
With those results in mind, I have one tip that is very obvious that I hope you take from this.
If you are starting a new site, don't take 1 year to get it to 30 articles. Do it within a month and take a year to get it to 350 articles!
For my main site, I also saw very good results.
The first is the improvements from the consistent additions of more articles which caused the site to reach just shy of 50k sessions. I got a lot of spam traffic yesterday, which spiked the stats and I had intended to reach out to mediavine to see if they'd accept me this close to 50k considering I'm out of season with this site.
I'll still reach out to them but we'll see if they agree or I'll have to keep waiting.
But with that much traffic, I did see good growth in affiliate income now that I currently have more buyer styled articled ranking than any other type on the site.

It's really frustrating that they changed the commission structure as this month I would've made roughly 7k from the main site. But 4k is still pretty good considering that the site is just 7 months old.
Hopefully, I can get the site onto mediavine soon so I can add another $800-$1000 in earnings. Plus, I've made provision with 10 new articles to take advantage of some offers on CJ and ShareASale. That could bring in another $600 a month.
Lastly, here's the result of spending 3 days optimizing articles on the main site:
Most keywords saw a pretty good jump and it'll only keep going up. There might be fluctuations but I think it will just get better. So spending a few days making sure your articles are optimized is well worth it.
Update Summary
Consistency is key and you reap what you sow. So the work done daily over months will surely result in incredible results. It's not always just flashy earnings and traffic stats, most of it is hard, boring, tiring work.
But the results are worth the effort.
This month I intend to double my efforts of last month and squeeze out whatever I can.
Sadly, I had a pinched nerve yesterday and I'm literally stuck in bed. I plan to go to the doctor tomorrow and do some checks then a chiropractor later on in the week. But I'll still try and see how much work I can put in.

- Ran site audit on the main site and plugged any leaks and added more internal links.

Not that I'm aware of. The older the better and easier it is to be valued. With a 6 month old site, you'd get a 20-25x and with a 1-year-old site you'd get 28-30x. My last site only had 8 months of earnings history so and it sold quickly so I don't think there's a 1 year requirement? But the domain was older than a year so maybe that counts.

Update - End of February
This month started off poorly for me due to my back which had me back and forth between doctors. Turns out I had TWO herniated discs that were pinching my nerves and literally had me on bed rest for two weeks.
I couldn't sit up, stand up or do anything but rest until the pain subsided then I managed to struggle to do MRIs and such.
Either way, I couldn't catch up and failed to meet my deadline of completing the second site. I tried to make up for it in the second week but I'm still 20 articles away from completion.
Another thing is that I'm having a slight change of heart regarding my journey and my goals.
Initially, I had set out to hit 10k by September this year which is highly probable considering my progress, however, life situations and capped niche potential (in my hands) make me feel like I'll be selling my current top earner again some time in June/July.
Since my site is built on an expired domain I think it'll be a little harder to sell it the more money it makes. So before it passes 10k or gets close I need to get it off my hands.
With the peak season for this niche just a few days or weeks away, I've already started seeing an uptick in earnings from items that literally couldn't be sold even though I ranked #1. So I know the closer we get to warmer times the more they will sell. Which means higher earnings.
Some of the affiliate programs that I couldn't get onto have also moved over to ShareASale so I could switch a good bulk of products from Amazon. But again I don't really want to increase the profit from the site and would rather leave it as a selling point.
I'll continue this later after sharing the stats:

The last day spike in January was unnaturally caused by bot traffic so it doesn't count. However, you can see that the site mostly improved day by day which is highly related to the page optimization I did in January.
Overall, it's a 20% increase just from the optimization and I don't think I'm seeing the full swing of traffic since the site hasn't hit the peak of the season at present it's at about 58% of peak based on Google Trends.
So once winter is over I should have a good few months of earnings if everything proceeds according to plan.
Here's my rank tracker data for comparison to the one I posted in January's update.

I started optimizing the pages with only 55 keywords in the top 3, now I'm at 79 in the top 3 which is good enough. With these metrics, I know that if I kept this site and added another 100 articles I'd easily breach 10k with this site alone by September.

The total earnings were just a bit shy of 5k but as usual, the high ticket items don't get shipped right away. Still, I did hit a milestone this month by earning $423 in a single day which was a big surprise to see. I did have a few days where I sold over $18k in items so I'm expecting another day or two like that soon.

So back to the topic of why I might sell the site. Currently, this site should get a six-figure valuation based on the multiples on the market and even if I get a lower multiple it's still a 5k site. So worse case I'd get 28x multiple for it which is good.
The bottom line is that while Amazon is still a viable program it's not something that I want to rely on or do long term. Yes, there are other programs in my niche that would give me a higher commission but I can't get into them.
And with all these new changes Google is making, I'd rather take a low multiple which is still a six-figure payday and consider that I made 10k a month until my new site's rank instead of holding onto this site at the mercy of Amazon and Google.
If the site can't be sold I'd keep it and grow it but I think it's better to at least try to get rid of it and then hold it as a last resort.
If I keep it, by May it should be a 7k site when the latest articles start ranking. Plus, with mediavine ads included that's another $800-$1500/ month. And by then my second site should be somewhere around $500-$1000 by June and $2000 by September with the third site seeing similar growth.
So at the end of the day, if I sell the site I'll be back to $5k by the end of the year and if I keep it I'd be above $10k by September if everything works out.

I'll have a couple more days like this coming up depending on when the high ticket items ship.
But at least this proves that Amazon still can give you a good amount of money even though I could earn double the amount IF I could've switched over to other affiliate programs.
If I had to put a ratio to it I'd say I'm spread 70:30 for commercial to info content.
