Hey,

I registered a domain some months ago and installed WordPress. I set it to no-index in the WordPress settings and forgot about it because I had other things to do.

Today I removed the no-index setting.

Now I started to write some articles and tried do add the sitemap (created with Yoast) to Google Search Console but it can't finde the sitemap.

Even the Live-URL test said it couldn't find the site.

How long does it take till Google is able to crawl the site after the no-index tag is removed?

Thanks in advance

Time can't predict exactly. However if you have a quality site with informative content and perfect in on page without errors, it will be below 5 days..

Something wrong with your website.

Have you manually checked sitemap. Whether it is accessible through browser or not.

If Live-URL test can not find url, it means either url is wrong or it is blocked by robots.txt.

G can be buggy AF with this stuff... if your Robots.txt isn't saying to block crawlers and your no indexing tags are completely removed then you should be good go.

Check canonicals too.

Other than that, submit your sitemap on GSC and just wait a few days. Pain in the ass I know, but Google have so many indexing issues recently.
