The Best Wordpress hosting?

I've had decent experience with Siteground, although it seems expensive compared to a some of the others recommended here

Siteground no longer offers cpanel, you are stuck with their crappy Sitetools now. I will be leaving when my contract is up.

I’m thinking of creating a WordPress blog about mental health. Right now, I just want to write articles and do the SEO. Hopefully, I could scale it someday to sell such as t-shirts and sell my service.

I've been googling these past few days, but almost every article I came across said that Bluehost is the best hosting for WordPres, yet when I search the review in this forum, many say that Bluehost is the worst.

So, what I'm asking here is, what's the best hosting for blogging in WordPress?

I personnally like Hetzner, they have good prices and easy to use servers.

Everyone and their grandmother is going to have an opinion on this one. Experiences differ greatly when it comes to hosting. Person A could have a great experience with Host 1 and person B could have a terrible experience with the same host. Best way to gauge this is to sign up and dive in to whatever host you're thinking about exploring.

in the last 10+ y i worked with a lot of webhosters around the world and one of the best is https://stablepoint.com/ because they host the webservers in Azure, Google, DigitaOcean, Linode, Alibaba or Amazon Datacenter and the webservers are protected with Imunify360

I am really happy about Namecheap :)
Fast servers, cheap prices, around the clock support :)

Guru hosting pro + wp rocket + rocket cdn.

My site runs like an absolute dream with this combination. The load time between when browsing my site is so quick sometimes I think I haven’t clicked the link properly.

Congrats! It's good to know about it) I am with W3 Total Cache now and slowly turning my head towards WP Rocket. Lots of positive feedback out there. Have you tried to compare them somehow?

Not directly. But I have used wp total previously as well as some others and also manual optimising - even with guidance from google speed team (when I was running ad campaigns) and I found wp rocket seemed to produce the best results.

Now, I should definitely try WP Rocket) Thank you for letting me know!

Ffs, i was considering moving to them from Bluehost. Why would they do that?

How fast is the load time? Any reports like GTM?

Up until recently it was scoring 100% on GTMetrix, but I think they added a new testing metric (Cumulative Layout Shift) and now it doesn't score quite as well now.

test ran just now -

Try to defer .js, it should help a lot.

Its defered already via WP Rocket, but I do have in there a default exclution match -

Code:
/jquery-?[0-9.]*(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js

Honestly I dont know if thats sensible but I assume it is seeing as it was in there by default.

Also, this particular website really loads like its running on localhost, its lightening fast so I am very happy with it :D :D :D

Ok, have you tried the plugin Perfmatters together with WP Rocket, works like magic, Perfmatters is the default plugin I use on all sites I build, it´s easy as **** .. =)

I guess if I already bought hosting for two years I'm fucked eh?

im on namecheap. never had a problem with them.

Good luck on your journey! :-)
