Go for namecheap stellar business plan. Its better and I hold couple of wordpress sites and all are running smooth.

Above that if you plan VPS, I will recommend liquidweb.

Yup. I use nulled themes and plugins. As long as they don't contain malicious code that triggers the malware detection on NC's servers, you will be fine. In terms of 'slow', just use a CDN if you are expecting ~50k+ daily visits (that's what I do)
