How do you benefit from leeches

My definition in this context: A leech is someone finding your information to then leave without clicking on a banner, entering his email or clicking on an affiliate link.
Sometimes you see them copy your content to put it on their blog to claim it was theirs.
Most of the time, he has an ad blocker installed.

Now, the question is: how could you benefit from a leech. How could you make him into a sale or lead?

You can't really benefit from them, since they ain't your everege joe to get fooled so easy. It's more easy to focus on other things and leave those be. A world without parasites would be awkward

1. It's bad UX.
2. It's still damn easy to copy. Even if the user is not technical, he can use plugins to avoid these blocks. It only ruins it for the normal user than anything else.

I agree. If the OP wants to go that route, they can, but I wouldn't do it.

That is because the context menu comes by default with the browser. If you "hack" it, it's not a good thing. Context menu might contain lots of other helpful modules, and not only copy paste. Also, user-select:none is a ugly hack IMHO. It should only be enabled in widgets that do not need text selection, and not globally.

All it would do is annoy the illegitimate user of the webpage.
And maybe those who select a line to know where they are currently reading. But you can also use your mouse pointer for that.
To me the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

The blog is young, most are leeches. I see unrealized potential.

I could just create a pop-up once they leave leading to an advertiser. But it might be against the advertiser's TOS.

You don't see unrealized potential. You think you do.

Those that are there to leech won't fall for a dime store tactic where you use a pop up to a CPA offer and odds are much of that is automated anyway.

But test and see.
