it's not, that's a separated one and it's free as well

Probably a good idea not to attach accounts like that.
I always try to avoid it, in general, if possible.

Yeah, I don't see a keyword research tool in there.
It does give you some insight into the movement of keywords you already rank for, though.

Ok, thanks, so, apparently you can't be logged into the Ahrefs webmaster tool, or the link will redirect to keyword explorer, the paid version. The link worked once I logged out.

This is a standalone version and you don't need any account. You just need to open it in any browser & check for keywords. As far as I know, it's unlimited as long as you can solve recaptcha. The alternatives like Ubersuggest limit no. of free searches, so I prefer this tool as I can search as many kws as I need.

On a lighter note, even after having DIRECT access to my Google Search Console, Ahrefs is still showing wrong quantity of backlinks, keywords and positions

It will take sometime to normalize data.

For whatever reason, ahrefs webmaster tools doesn't seem to report as many backlinks as their free backlink checking tool.
Not sure why that is.

Looks like it is, the free version is new as far as i know and its normal to have a few bugs within

Slightly of topic, but I just signed up for AWT yesterday and crawled one of my sites. It says that the canonicals for all the pages still are x.wpengine.com (the staging website). What's the best way to fix this? Thanks in advance.
