That only proves that DA is a garbage metric, comments work but you have to have them on domains that matter to your niche and are authority domains (and no this has nothing t do with that shitty MOZ DA that everyone gets a hard-on for)
Maybe DA isnt a garbage metric. Maybe the way he increased DA isnt effective..

But DA also considered as one of a ranking factor among other metrics. As you say, backlink quality really matters. Blog commenting is just a temporary way to improve your DA because it won't last long.

Thats right. My plan was to build DA quickly to the decent level at low cost, then create quality back links after.
It's fine probably. Just post in relevant section. I have a forum too, but there can literally be any section.
askjerri dot com or check out voicechatroom.xyz
Yeah. Thats what I did. Kept the backlinks in relevant niche which has low spam score.

Yes it works, check and do relevant manual commenting.

For last 3 months, I've been doing link building through Blog commenting for my site. I don't see any difference in my traffic but I can certainly say that it boosts your domain authority. It gradually increased my DA from 16 to 29. No kidding!
So if you know that you won't see a difference in traffic, why try to boost your DA?

Blog comments can be done, ideally in the same niche, non-spammy, real looking. This should not hurt but don't it massively!

if it's on a relevant blog and you aren't doing some weird shit like using a keyword as your name to get an exact match anchor to an inner page, yea.

do them correctly on relevant, non spammed out blogs and they still make great pillow links. don't have a lot of push behind them is all.

Can I do this post click bank affiliate links onto other blogs via a redirect through my domain!?

This can be a great strategy to build relationships with relevant bloggers.

Moz is not Google, DA can be manipulated. Know plenty of websites with low DA and backlink profile of even lower DAs ranking #1-#3 .

Yeah, but use it carefully, and dont just blast comments.

Instead; if you see a blog link ranking well in the keyword you're targeting - place a link to your site on there.

Find contextual blogs - post your link on there if you can.

Even nofollow provides minor benefit, as long as its niche relevant it can help a little. If you use it for your backlinks, it will get your backlink sites indexed at the very least.

its becoming less effective becoz of new attributes introduced by Google.
still it can be really useful if you post GENUINE on niche relevant site.

Forget blog commenting. Most big blogs are even disabling comments these days.

Use it to boost your tier one links but dont point it to your money site
Don't see anything wrong with writing a good comment to help someone out and add your site in the comment if it makes sense.

For example a blog post on your site that goes in more depth on the answer your provided. Or if someone is looking for opinions on a specific product, it's ok to give quick insights and point the person to your site where you have a review of that product or maybe even comparison of such products.

But that is done for the purpose of getting traffic or targeted leads.

Blog comments can also be used to index some stubborn backlinks faster.

If not either of those things, then there are far more useful things in SEO to spend your time on than to just make a bunch of comments expecting that they will make you rank.
