Acceptable but should be avoided.

I don't think it's good to have only "nofollow" links out. At least it's what I understood from all I have read online about the subject. So majority of nofollow, yes. 100% of affiliate links no follow yes. But natural fit in your article bringing value to your user and making total sense with your content pointing at a very authoritative site in your niche --> do-fo-llow.

Yeah, sounds about right. Definetly wanna make everything look natural. It's just that some of my articles are quite long and have like 30-40 outgoing links - was definetly losing some link juice there.

ye, but if you want to rank on “mosquito repelent” for example, why not add to title kW mosquito repelent, and had h1 the same as well. At the end, it boost your page for main kW - in this case - mosquito repelent. For longtails, will optimize h2 and paragraph text, alt on images etc... but dont see why i should target different kws in h1 and title

Now, the content in page is ~2000 - 2500 words.

I see a lot of pages they leave their <p></p> clean without any <strong> in them.
and they just use strong outside of their paragraphs... (and few.)

Besides proper heading, I like using inside the P tags strong for lSI keywords what'd you say about this?

Well, the golden rule is to have max 1 <strong> per 100 - 150 words of text. However I am using more bold words to beautify the content and increase it readability and never got any problems or difficulties with ranking it.

<strong> should be inside the paragraphs. Most of the things should be inside <p>, some exceptions are headings <h> and lists <ul>

Very useful if done correctly. I am usually adding table of contents. Anchors are useful to diversify content semantics.

yes, i think that is a seo best pratice for articles. there are also some plugins for wordpress that do it automatically based on the <h> in the article
