June UPDATE:
Okey Here are my stats for June, I'm very very happy with the growth of the organic traffic, my site is not a ghost town anymore, I broke the 10k sessions barrier There are some downsides which I will explain below, however, they are just things that need to be adjusted, as long as I'm getting the traffic I'm happy.
Okay, first of all, let's see my Organic traffic according to Google Analytics:
As you can see I got 7218 Organic visits from google which is an increase of 610% That's just nice! There's a bad thing is that despite all that traffic I didn't sell any penny with my affiliate offer so that made me take some decisions which I will let you know at the end.
Now let's see keyword indexing according to Semrush:
As you can see it keeps increasing, but what's more amazing and motivating is that I managed to rank 28 keywords in the top 3 of SERPs which is fcking amazing considering I only have 17 posts in total in my site.
Now let's see Google Search Console performance:
I got more than 9k clicks and 226k impressions, I doubled up my CTR and also increased my average position, this chart just looks like the Bitcoin Chart in 2017 Lmaoo. This is very motivating for me!
Subscriber list:
My list keeps growing slowly but steady, I get an average of 3 to 5 subscribers per day with current traffic, I offer an optional free gift for those who subscribe. Then start to send automated emails sending some other free gifts and then the affiliate offer(s).
Conclusions and Decisions:
1. My affiliate offer is not converting well I have decided to switch and try other offers, I will still keep the current one but as a secondary offer shilled to my subscribers list only.
2. I started to outsource some content, that could speed up the process and scale things up, I get a piece of content and then I improve it and add all the media and extra stuff, which saves more than 50% of effort and time.
3. I tried to apply to Google Adsense but got rejected 3 times, I will try to apply again in august in the meanwhile Im using media.net but the results I have had are terrible my RPM is just $0.04 which is incredibly low and I haven't got any support or help, my ads are not showing related keywords, maybe I think media.net doesn't perform well with my niche, still looking other options to monetize with ads, I hope to pass the adsense filter next time.
4. I have been able to outperform my competitors with much higher Domain Authority and backlinks on SERPs than me, which is another reason that my strategy is working great and content is king! I keep my rule to do not pay and never build fake links or make any effort for backlinks, just focusing on creating the best content possible and make it viral through my social networks, I work hard on building a strong community over my different social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr).
Okay, I think that's enough for now, I hope you guys let me know your thoughts, I want to know the opinion of the most experienced people here, My issue right now is with the monetization of the traffic, I think it is just about testing what works better with my traffic.
Thank you,
Sebastian
