You have included the jetpack, which i use for analytics, image optimization. I thought this helps my website speed?

Jetpack is a very bloated plugin offering all kinds of options and will slow down your website. Do this test... run your website through the GTmetrix tool and take a look at your website speed score with Jetpack plugin installed then view your Waterfall report and see if the Jetpack plugin is affecting your speed.

Secondly deactivate Jetpack and uninstall it from your website clear your cache then run the tool again and view your results I'm sure you will see and increase in website speed.

Just a head up though if you decide to do the above not you will lose any Jetpack settings and will have to do a setup again if you decide to use it. Smush plugin is a better alternative for images and why would you need to bloat your website down with GA in the dashboard when you can view direct on the GA website. I also tell people developers with the GA plugins have a lot of up sells they push in your Wordpress dashboard when should you carry around that bloat.

I would add Google Fonts as well in a website's slow factors.

If you use WP-Rocket Cache plugin i think that you do not need to "host" any plugin for analytics. Am i correct?

Yes you are correct I use the WP - Rocket plugin to have Google Fonts pre-loaded to avoid lag or slow slow down my website.

I'm not sure I understand your question bu I'll attempt to answer. If using a bloated or slow plugin is a must on your website and you cannot find an alternative then use the Asset Clean Up plugin to trim the fat off of any unneeded CSS/Javascript code from your post/pages. Hope that helps.

yes I got one bro look at my site speed , a lot claim due t Wcom and FB plugin for the products sync stuffs will also make the site load slow etc .

So true. I just deleted my Contact Form 7 three days ago when I noticed that it's slowing down my website. I'm looking to go with ordinary html form

Remember you can still use Contact Form 7 just use the Asset Clean Up plugin along with it to only load on that Contact page as oppose to loading the script on all pages.

But going the HTML route will work but remember that is still added additional code to your website. Hope that helps.

I only recommendation is to delete any GA plugin if that is all you are using it for. Just be sure that your theme allows you to drop your GA code in the header. If your theme doesn't allow that and you definitely need a GA plugin add the Asset Clean Up plugin to remove unneeded code and scripts.

Simple use the GA website to view your traffic why have it load in your dashboard to affect your speed it just does not make sense in my opinion.

Good job OP. My issues is that I run Analysis on GT Metrix my site is speed is under 2 sec 94-89 but in Google Page Speed on Desktop has 89 and for the Mobile is 34 which is unfair, any Idea on that.
And I found Issues on Google Page Speed on Mobile that Unused Js and CSS found and I installed Asset Clean Up, so how can I track the script and remove it.

Thank you for the info, really nice of you writing this guide.
However, I think it's pretty easy to achieve high score on clean and less complex sites. Try adding like 2-3 times more articles on your home page, similar to news websites, and see how it becomes harder.
The more images / complex website the harder it is. It would require more time and efforts to optimize everything.

Mobile optimization is mostly the hardest, and usually requires special configurations for heavily modified websites.

My point, it's not always so easy as it seems, requires a lot of testing and is very time consuming.

Nice score. I'm jealous. Been getting remove unused CSS on mine and it gets 53-66 mobile score. Does anyone knows how I can solve this as googling left me confused.

Your theme plays a huge role in mobile speed if it is not mobile friendly it plays a factor. Also please look at your waterfall report in GTmetrix in most cases it is huge images on your website that affect speed. For images I manually use Tinypng [ dot ] com along with the Smush plugin. Hope that helps.

@gpoutcast you are correct with the Google Analytics however with the Cookie consent plugin once you run it in your themes footer and not in the header script. Hope that helps
