beating MY weed addiction.

Nice to see that other people have experienced the same thing. Lately I've been wondering that those effects are also caused by smoking weed, instead of eating or drinking it. I'll find out when I make the tea, maybe I'll go to outer space but at least it's worth it to find out.

I recommend you stop vaping fam. Consuming any kind of smoke is not good for your health.;)

Growing weed is great. Can make you some extra bucks, if you dare to dive into that pool. I don't for one.
Not sure, eating MJ cookies gives you different kinds of high it also lasts way, way longer, and is more intense.
But I think it's the THC that makes the long term damage to your brain and body.
Well, I didn't go to outer space from the tea, as it was supposed to be just a tea with some healing effects as I made it from only leaves, not from the buds itself.
yes, my plan is to stop all bad habits - making my mind a bitch and becoming a machine.
Sure, extra money is good, and if you feel that's the way, go for it :)

My best friend never smoke but now he died. My cousin quite enough exercise and he gone now. So.. I can't tell you anything. And i still smoke and drink coffee at least 1 pack, 2 glasses coffee each days. Do what you want to do. But don't Dancing On Someone’s Death :)
Im very, very sorry for you man.
Well, you are totally right, do whatever makes you happy :)

That's the right thing to do ! drugs are for weak people and weed won't make u work it will just make u lazy and not want to do anything.
This is pure ignorance. Cannabis isn't a "drug", it's a medicine and just like any substance in the world someone can become addicted. I own 2 Brick and Mortar businesses and cleared upper 6 figures last year and work harder than most people I know. Using Cannabis is the ONLY way I made it through Chemotherapy and the recovery afterwards. Your statement should be "weak people can have negative consequences from anything". There's no such thing as "good" or "bad" drugs. There are only drugs, people choose whether to use them in a good or bad way. Lumping in every user of Cannabis as "druggies" or "lazy" is the most ignorant thing I've seen in a while. My 97 year old grandfather smokes daily and doesn't have to rely on any "pharmaceuticals" to function.

Some people can't handle Cannabis, some people can't handle food or alcohol, but your generalized statement about people who do being lazy is just completely wrong.

Please before you're trying to be smart, read all I have written here!

Calling me weak is just stupid, If you only could imagine what I have to go trough.... bet you can't do it, that's why you are still smoking.

My post has obviously gone completely over your head if that is what you took from it.

You realize I was speaking replying to Razen666's post right?

Actually no, I didn't notice, lol. sorry.
But anyway it is on my thread so it does include me as well.

Let me tell you something if it is defined as medicine - should it be available to everyone to use? NO. Because medicine are supposed to be used only if necessary, ok in your case it is just like that I suppose.
But most people are using the word "medicine" because that's the easy way - living in a fantasy world for years is ok? NO. losing the sense of reality is ok? NO. Being dependent of ANY substance is ok? NO. Being a teen at age 15 -16 and smoking this so-called medicine is ok? NO.
But as I mentioned earlier in the thread weed works different yet the same for everybody. But be honest to yourself too most of the people use it to get lost from the reality not because of the medical benefits (and actually medical MJ is something totally different it's not the MJ you can buy from fuking street dealers)

I didn't want to go this route, but I also have lost a friend of mine, who was growing his own dope, he died from lung cancer few years after he was doing that.

And yes, I mean that it is ME and Im fighting MY addiction.

Have a good day sir.

Inspiring posts, I will follow this since I'm struggling with quitting smoking weed daily myself because of how unproductive I get combining my natural lazyness with the weed.

What I recommend is to go to a gym and start running, and cut every other bad habit you have.
In my opinion, going cold turkey is the key to stop, it will be painful it will suck - you have to set your mind to this. And in the end, it is worth it. No brain fog, no laziness, overall seeing the world in different colors.

Cannabis for sure is a drug bro, and I don't mean like the legal term for a drug, I mean like it should be in the same basket as other drugs and not just considered as a medicine (really semantics anyway tbh).

It's great that you can be functional and successful while habitually smoking weed, but you're an outlier. Many people that habitually smoke are exactly like Razen said - lazy, lethargic, and generally dysfunctional from the point of view of being successful outside of being stoned.

This isn't coming from someone that hates drugs or has never tried them. Actually it's the polar opposite. But you've got to be real about what you've experienced and how you function, and how that's different to most people.

Also, pointing out that being reliant on pharmaceuticals is bad, and that people can get addicted to lots of substances doesn't remove the potential negatives of pot. It might mean that it is significantly less harmful than other pharmas (which it obviously is), but it doesn't whitewash the damaging effects that it can have on peoples' lives.

It's not a case that some people can't handle weed, it's a case that some people can (ie you). Lots of people vegetate for years on pot - yeah they're not smackheads so that's a plus. But it's still massively dysfunctional and harmful.

Gl on the journey bro.
So how it is now? do still use weed ? or you already stop?

Btw i read the disscusion above
i think we cannot say for sure reliance is bad and need to be stopped, everything depend on the situation and need.
some people need to consume certain type of drugs regularly or they die.

You can do it
thanks, I'm actually doing it! :)

Thank you, bro, this will be an amazing ride - from drug addict to millionaire.
Now I'm pretty good, 17 days clean.
I would lie if I say that the thoughts of smoking a joint don't come to me, I have to keep my mind busy with something interesting, now I'm learning python - it is interesting enough to keep me busy and get my mind off the bad thoughts.

Sure, that is totally different ball game, but then again... what is better live drugged or don't live at all...

99% will choose live drugged. since the purpose of most living things is to survive.

You have bought into the Reefer Madness, and that's OK because I know this is akin to debating religion and I'll never change your mind, just as you will never change my mind. I own a dispensary, it's a very high end dispensary and the majority of my patients are Dr's, Attorney's and other affluent members of my community. Cannabis should be regulated as much as lettuce and everything you said has been scientifically proven to be false. Of course there are people who have bad experiences with it and of course it affects people differently but so does sugar, fat, adrenaline.... the list is never ending.
You're repeating all of the "War on Drugs" propaganda that has been indoctrinated into you since you were a kid, it's not your fault if your ignorant about this subject, it's what you've been taught. It IS your fault if choose to remain ignorant.

Some people get addicted to their phone, some to the internet this doesn't mean these things are inherently "bad" things, it just means humans are prone to not being able to control their urges. I have my weaknesses too, Cannabis is not one of them. We all do things to improve our quality of life, shoes aren't necessary but they sure making walking more enjoyable and less painful. Cannabis isn't required by me but it helps calm me down and allows me to focus on what I'm doing and what I need to accomplish.
My brother is a professional Weight Lifter and everyone of his lifting partners and himself use Cannabis to increase their performance while working out . The test are out there of all of the good this amazing medicine does. Most people refuse to listen because again, they have been indoctrinated to believe Cannabis is a drug.

Cannabis has only been illegal about 70 years, before that it was as normal as anything else and guess what? When people had Cannabanoids in their system (More than what is there already naturally) There was a whole lot less Cancer, diabetes etc... in the world.

It has more Amino 3 Fatty Acids than Fish oil and is proven to lessen the frequency of seizures. I never said being relying on pharmaceuticals was bad, it's necessary for a lot of people, my point was my grandfather was on about 15 pills 3 times per day and now only uses Cannabis.
I'm not a big fan of smoking cannabis, we sell a lot more edibles than we do flower but linking Cannabis to Lung Cancer is just false unless you're smoking tobacco with it.

We'll just have to agree to disagree but I would urge you to research a little more before blindly just believing what people have told you. The truth is out there if you're truly interested.

But you admit you're massively biased. I mean if I owned a women's clothes store I'd be telling people all day long about how important it is for women to look nice.

I've taken every drug you can put a name to and plenty you've probably never heard of. I've have had north of hundreds of friends throughout my life who smoke, as well as a good number of family members - it's not coming from a place of ignorance, the opposite.

It's not benign, no matter how your subjective experience has been. Sure, it's not hugely harmful in relatively moderate amounts, in fact it's beneficial and depending on the strain is a nice social drug that can be enjoyed without negative results.

But just because that's true doesn't mean that millions of people don't smoke in a dysfunctional way that damages their lives. Mainly because it is so widely accepted and so innocuous.

You obviously love (I choose that word carefully) weed, and that's a problem if you're trying to subjectively assess it's impact on the wider world outside of your rich lawyer stoner clients who have their shit together anyway and represent a tiny fraction of daily cannabis users. I'm guessing your kind of getting stoned is very different to a lot of other peoples' getting stoned.

I have been using cannabis for the last 8 years or so ... it is medicine. I was having hell big stuttering problem + social anxiety. I have tried lots of different pharmaceuticals with zero success and damn this pharma stuff is dangerous. There is no cure for the stuttering but cannabis cured it 90%

If it makes you lazy, then you smoke too much. I only smoke in the evenings and it makes me hell productive when stoned. Yeah, it makes me a little lazy also but that's nothing compared with my other sh*t if no puffs.

If you want to quit it, then cold turkey is bad for your health. I would quit it for smoking only at nights and high CBD/low THC Indica strain for 1 month along, for example, Dinamed Kush CBD Autoflowering 16% CBD, THC 0.6%.

In your particular situation it sounds like it might be. But you're not necessarily representative of every cannabis-taking person on the planet.

There is no cure for the stuttering but cannabis cured it 90%
That sounds positive. (like medicine)

If you want to quit it, then cold turkey is bad for your health.
That sounds negative. (like addiction)
