Hey, happy Monday.

The biggest battle of my life - I have to beat my weed addiction once and for all.

I can go without smoking the weed for a few days and then I feel the need for it, I know some people can smoke it and get shit done, but that's not me.

I get super duper extra lazy (but I get some great ideas while high, but you know.. fuck the ideas if I'm not even able to execute them (most of them))

I need to STOP and I know it is a disease for me, what do you do with diseases? you cure them. That's what I'm going to do.

I wrote it here to get some extra support and put extra pressure on me.

If somebody else is facing the same - stay strong you can do it.

I will update this every few days.

For all the weed lovers here - I have nothing against weed. It's me.

Good luck man.

Ive known people to get extra productive on it, but most of the time, it fucks you up.

Get rid of it all from your house, don't let anything be a temptation.

We will need daily updates o_O;)

might help friend smoking for years last month got half lung chopped off now on bottle air in a wheelchair.

lung had cancer from the tobacco in the weed they said.

scary shit

not good seeing a mate in a wheelchair and hardly speak, now really fucked up can do nothing without help.

not even wipe his own arse he blacks out

the tobacco killing you, you smoke it without tobaco it burning inside your lungs up.

my m8 found out from having a chest pain went doctors sent to hospital , they found a small lump on the chest , they done a sample from lump was cancer , then half lung removed.

all over smoking .

Wanting to stop is half the battle. You’ve cracked that bit, you can do the next bit now.

Just remind yourself it’s an addiction; it’s controlling you, don’t let it do that. You are stronger.

Getting away from that will be hard, but it will change the course of your entire life for the better. That’s a powerful opportunity you have right there. You gonna take it?

Thank you for your support.

..I remember when I started to smoke it was more like that too, was able to focus and work, but now I'm many, many years-in and I want that Indica to get super high - because otherwise what's the point of smoking and in this state, I can't do shit for the day I smoke and next day to come because Im still fuking high and can't focus.

There are people who can do stuff, and Im amazed by these people, really.

Didn't want to spam BHW with my addiction thread daily :D :D

thank you.

Good luck mate. I've known many friends and also some family members who wake up and the first thing they do is smoke a bong in order to be able to function. It's the reason I hate people saying that weed is harmless, one of my biggest problems with people like Joe Rogan who idolise it.

As you progress with moving your life away from it, it'll become easier gradually. Especially after a month or two. Try to fill the void with things like working out if you can, and avoid anyone that smokes.

I know plenty of people that were as addicted as it gets who've quit completely, so you can too. Keep at it mate, spending your life stoned is a fucking terrible way to live.

what do you mean the idea cant be executed????? it is criminal thing????????????????or just blackhat tfhing???????

as @redarrow and @davids355 have both pointed out, giving it up is for the best. One post a day in this tread is hardly going to be an issue, I doubt. But, as there is a mod commenting, I'm sure he can give you more advice about it being spam or not...

The easiest way around it is to make it a journey, and do something productive, too...

That will (hopefully) get your mind away from the weed, and onto something good, we could even benefit from your ideas and strategies too. Just make them your own, not THC!

Having any habit is bad, especially when it affects you negatively. Nothing wrong with a little green IMO but it may not be the best thing right now. Never good to depend on anything no matter how harmless it is.

Hope that you can find a a balance within yourself. I had a slight issue with that when I was younger but now its just an small guilty pleasure, not a habit. Competely different perspective than before.

It may not be for you and in order for you to realize that you have to quit for a while.

May you find peace

thank you, getting support from a guy like you means a lot.

it really is, but I want to take the control back because I am the boss here.

I will get to running in the evenings so I'm actually tired and it'll be easier to fall asleep - otherwise, I will go insane from insomnia :D

I can't miss this opportunity, there might not be another one.

Ohh sh#t a bong in the morning, that's crazy.
And yes, the days pass and you don't feel like missing anything, but then you wake up a year later and you realize you haven't done anything great in that year.

In a fact I started to go to a gym like 6 months back I was really smoking way less (I remember going like 2-3 weeks with no weed and then you meet someone or just let it slip this one time which is not good)
But now with the COVID gym is closed and I have nowhere to go, well last week I started running, It is a good alternative for now.

Thank you for support.

That's a great idea, thanks!

As I believe TikTok will become more friendly for us marketers (even now it's not bad, you just have to find the angle).

My goal is 1M followers in the next 12 months, 10 accounts, each 100K Followers. considering how fast I got 1 of my accounts to 10k - this sounds pretty realistic.

Today I will do deep research on niche and trends.

that sounds great. I think my daughter needs your method, she wants to get TikTok "famous." I'm too old for that, so I try to stick with IG. Although, I think I am too old for that too. Dont have much success. :)

My greatest weed addiction was because of friends more over room mates. At first we started to smoke to relax and in special occasion slowly it changed to weekend routines, then started smoking even anyone friend had fight with girlfriend ,at some point of time I realised we got addicted tried ton lots of ways pushed my friends to make them understand that they have to stop smoking its keeps do nothing useful in life we were living in fantasy world. Even though i tried to make then understand advice end of the day I had to smoke with them. Then I realised the problem was not my friends or my addiction it was the place We lived. We had to climb 5 floor that easily makes all of tired and lazy to even go down and so that’s the reason we couldn’t go out a lot and we need to do something that’s why we started smoking.

So my advice or more like suggestions is to change the place and people around you addiction will no more be an problem. Your problem was it became your routine and its very easy if you change your place and people around you!! Feel free to ask if you want some suggestion to build up and focus on your work I am happy to Help!

Thank you

haha, you can't be too old for a marketing channel if you ask me.
And if you think about it - it will grow and the audience of TikTok will be broader than it is now, at least that's what I think.
At the moment I don't have any working method, maybe it was just luck, who knows..But I surely will figure it out.

Here's how I did...
Going cold turkey did not work.

I gradually brought the dosage down from quite a few pots (chillum, if you know what it is) to 2-3 joints a day. Then to 1-2 cigarettes a day (Remove the tobacco, mix with MJ and put it back). Then to 1 cig before I sleep. I did it all in like 2-3 months.

Now a days, I rarely smoke MJ. If I do (once every two months may be), I do it in the night. I don't smoke more than 1 cig, or it will become an addiction again (happened to me before).

Hope that helps. :)
