So if I understand it correctly.. CPM is "Cost Per Thousand Impression" and that pretty much means how much you'll make when someone sees the ad, they don't have to click it, just see it.

And most of the time the CPM rate is roughly somewhere around "$1.11" which means, if I have 10.000 unique visitors a day I'd make $11.1 a day x 30 = $333.3 a month.

That doesn't make sense to me, what's all the hype about?
What am I missing?

I appreciate your help :)

You can run other ads together with it for more money and obviously more adblocks to multiple the income.

CPM based ads are mainly used where we get a huge number of page impressions such as in adult niche.

First of all $11.1*30 = $333 not $33.3
If you put 3 ads per page, you will get 3 ad impressions per visit.
If each of your visitors visits 5 pages per session. You will get 5x more impressions.
So 10000 visitors per day may give you 10000*30*5*3 = $4950
Assuming CPM is 50 % lower for non-unique impressions. You will earn $4950/2 = $2475 per month

This depends on the industry, with adsense you are going to earn 1-2$/1000 visitors, with premium ad platforms like ezoic you earn between 4-10$/1000 visitors, medicine 9-16$/1000 and with adthrive I have seen some with 30$/1000 visitors

Oh! Interesting, I've been looking into PopCash, is that a good one?

IT'S NOT BECAUSE YOU HAVE 10K TRAFFIC = WE ALL HAVE 10K TRAFFIC

No it doesnt work that way.
First it depends on the geos.
Second it depends on how many ads you have. I get 10 impressions/uv.
So with 10k /day i would make more than $3k/month

If you´re running just 1 ad on your site then your maths are spot on but, most sites monetized by ads don´t have just 1 ad, do they?

Also, it highly depends on the industry and the ad platform you´re using.

I know bloggers that get anywhere between $5-$15 for CPM and sometimes even more.

As stated above, it highly depends on the authority of your site, the quality of the traffic, the industry, and the ad platform you´re using.

You're confusing impressions and page views.
If you have 3 ads on the page then 10k visitors would generate 30k ad impressions.
If 10k visitors browse 3 pages per visit - that would be 90k ad impressions.

On some of my sites, I am generating 500k pageviews from 25k visits.

Wow, those are some amazing numbers right there.

Kudos to you!

I'm currently trying out "adsterra" and it seems as if I only get paid when they click the ad, are there any networks that pay you per impression?

hey I am having a problem with adsterra I had a header ad and it was redirecting users to the ad page instead of my URL so I opened the ticket and they said they have filtered spammy ads and to try again I told them to remove my domain or the ad and no reply for 5 days and then I did 1 more msg to the ticket and they deleted my ticket.

any idea how I can remove the ad from the header? I am missing visits because of it and the ad is not going even after I removed their code long back how is this possible any idea?

also may I know why you said beware with them?

i have created 1 more ticket again today with the same issue dont know why they are not helping me and i can see the stats getting updated daily cause of that header ad

@se900se can you recommend some networks for people that don't have so many impressions?

I'm also checking your top 100 list.

Thanks for that
