[Method] How To Grow Your Facebook Group

This is a ‘stupid simple’ method to grow your Facebook group by sending invites and reminders to your Facebook page fans.

Reach on Facebook pages is bad since FB is giving a lot of ‘weight’ on posts from family, friends and Facebook groups. So the next logical step of leveraging the page fans is to create a FB group and invite those fans to join.

This is what happened when I started to do this daily. It takes me 2min per day.

I probably don’t have to explain the benefits of having a group and building an audience to promote all kinds of offers for FREE.


Step-By-Step:
1. If you don’t have a Facebook group (Why?!) - Create one and connect with your Facebook page.

2. Once you link the group to your page, you will see on the right side a list of people to invite.

3. Start inviting them daily, as many as there are shown.

4. After 3-5 days you should start sending reminders - FB sents another invite notification.
To remind them go to ‘Members - Invited’. You will see the whole list of people you already invited. You can send a reminder manually by clicking on 3 dots + Send Reminder.

To automate this process I use a Chrome extension called ‘Send reminder to group invites for Facebook™’. I’m in NO WAY associated or affiliated with them. Before using any tool always do your due diligence!

Here is how to set up this tool. You should skip at least 30-50 people to not remind them too fast.

That’s it!

You win when you do things others won’t.

Therefor a right presentation would be "how to transform your page fans into group members" leverage your fans etc.

its not a way to Grow your group, if that's already your audience. just saying.

it might be a nice thing to do, but its quite common sense for someone who knows FB orgranic reach decline.

What if I don't have a FB page, and want to grow a FB group?

I always run some type of ads and try to leverage the audience in a best way possible, to get the most out of every $ spend by collecting the custom audience, emails, messenger subscribers, page likes, etc. >> and invite all of them to the closed Facebook group.

The most success I had in growing a Facebook group was by running ads for a giveaway. So these ads and the whole sequence was designed to make money over and over again from subscribers while collecting group fans, emails, audience, etc. was just a ‘by-product’ of this campaign. This was by far the fastest and cheapest way to grow the group. The ad was connected to the messenger sequence where one of the sequence messages was an invite to the closed Facebook group with 90%+ CTR.

Second is by running ads for page likes and then inviting those as I described in the first post.


For me, it was always a waste of time spamming pages or groups with my links. So there are probably others that can help with this kind of grey/BH free methods.


Here are some WH free ideas:

• Put your link to the group anywhere you can - blogs, email, thank you pages, all social accounts, etc.
  
  
• If you start running ads and getting those Facebook page likes - make a post about your group regularly.
  
  
• Once you start getting people in, ask them to invite their friends to this amazing community (group). You can even run a small giveaway once per week for those that will invite at least 5 people.
  
  
• Find similar groups and ask the admin if they would be interested in cross-promoting.

Prepare some engaging content and schedule posts in the group - find niche related/viral images, videos, ask questions, etc.
At the beginning, you will have to invest more in content creation. After a while, the members will start engaging on their own, and all you will have to do is accept members, and promote your offers.
