Any experience with ranked.ai?

Glad I came across this forum, though I'd ask for insight re/below

Quick intro, i run the marketing side for a women's activewear ecomm business, mainly Google, fb & insta SMM & ads. Recently went through two 'SEO Experts' in two months yielding shocking results with absolute no onpage seo work done & the other ran blackhat links via fiverr..

Long story short, came across ranked.ai who in the past month have delivered consist weekly blog articles of reasonable quality, however im yet to see the 25 keyword research promise and onpage optimisation..

Thought I'd gather reviews, ideas and thoughts on ranked.ai?

We WANT them to do well, unfortunately our last experience or two SEO peeps has left a nasty taste hence the post. Where here to get a better idea of what's good and not, can say ignorance is not bliss in this instance...

Have you ended up trying them? as I have also used them in the past great articles they would send. But the other service of 25 keywords and backlinks creation was never seen. And when asking about it they never gave a clear answer. Curious to hear if they have gotten better.

I am debating whether or not I am going to fire Ranked.AI. I am just so frustrated with all of my clients that they have burned. UGH. Yes it is true that they will churn out the blog posts like clock work but I am not seeing on page done, and I do not know at what pace they are doing it. No transparency..ugh.

After 2 months in ranked.ai, every Monday I would get timely blog posts. We are a tour operator specialised in niche travel, little guides and info are available online in English.

I was impressed by the research of the posts and I thought they did a huge work to get those posts.

I was very courious, I did an online research and I discovered the first blog post from a competitor to be the same, ok different title (what ranked.ai says) but the structure, the h2 titles are exactly the same, just the content is re-phrased. Phrases are swapped and re-worded, like a university student would do, with the exception that the student would use references.

After some research, I found that ALL THE POST I was give where AN EXACT COPY from other blogs.

I was told “we don’t copy and paste work from other sites. Everything is written in-house by our content team. It’s 100% normal to have similar titles, if that’s what you’re concerned about. This is how you rank on intent driven search terms. It needs to be a competitive topic.”

I totally understand you can have similar titles, but you can’t have the same content on the base of a single article and just re-phrases it.

To my experience, this is not a professional service! They just take a relevant article online, re-phrase it and the job is done!

I am truly baffled by all the stellar reviews on their Trustpilot page. I wonder if they paid for them. For me, ranked.ai was a waste of time. The content they write is reasonable, but that's it. No SEO results and zero backlinks. I do not recommend it.

We used Ranked.ai's services for over 4 months. My CCO and I decided to quit the service when we realized that we were only ranking for our company name but no other keywords. Now to recap my experience with Ranked.ai. The pros- the company was consistent with delivering blog content on a weekly basis. They also helped our company to rank in Google searches under our name. The cons - There is no AI at work with this company. The blog content was always riddled with errors. Additionally, the staff writers were always recycling the same content which led to SEO cannibalization. I would not recommend this company.

It appears I'm not the only one who has never seen results from their services. I mean ranking for your brand name is not difficult at all

Story for anyone considering Ranked...

First- My background: I've been doing SEO full time now for 10 years and have consulted hundreds of clients. I have increased conversions for clients 3x up to 10x. I like to think I'm well versed in SEO.

I recently had a client approach me that had been using Ranked.ai for a year. They forwarded me some of their reports.

They are basically sending clients generic reports which list out "technical items" that will not affect 99% of clients. It's like taking your car to a garage and having them tell you;
Wing mirrors - check
Exhaust pipe - check
Emergency parachute - check
Cup holder - working
Car radio - tuned in
Basically, they are reporting things that won't make any difference to your site and can be easily checked with free online tools.

They don't appear to have created any links for the clients in the year they've been working for them.

The blog articles they have written don't rank for anything after a year.

They claim to help thousands of clients worldwide for a reasonable price. I can't find any reviews or testimonials on their site of actual improvements for clients.

All of this indicates an agency that will do nothing but drain your bank account.

Avoid.

Also discuss with your agency / freelancer what they are aiming to achieve. Conversions? Traffic? Rankings? Then do what you can to hold them to this. Creating a few blog posts and sending a basic report is not SEO, it's a money grab.
