7 Days To Profitable FB Campaign

Well, my problem with pay per cal was that maybe 1 from five calls were approved so I invested around 900 € and got back around 190 €. The network was not approving my calls. I think the best thing to do is to find a local client to sell leads.

Good luck. I'm thinking of doing CPA Facebook ads too. Is click bank CPA?

ClickBank is Cost Per Acquisition, yes.

Good luck with that. Lots of videos on the subject on youtube.

I'm still looking for a decent offer to promote.

In the meantime, I'll promote one of my own offers that I created last year, but never got around to promoting because the niche is heavily regulated by Adwords & Facebook ads.

I'm gonna run some ads to the offer using Pinterest Ads - First time using their platform, no idea what I'm doing - but the good thing is my offer is geared towards women so that's a major bonus because from what I understand Pinterest is mainly used by females.

Pinterest can be a great traffic source. The downside of this platform is that is still very new, and they are not improving it as fast as other social platforms regarding targeting, audience, optimization. You will need to be extremely patient, test a ton of things and prepare to have a hit/miss days. There will be days for example when your campaigns won't spend anything after a profitable day.

Start with small budgets, and don't touch the campaign for a couple of days. If CPC is too high just lower it once and see what happens in the next 24 hours. You must leave the campaigns to optimize way longer than any other social platform.

Also, this platform has 80% mobile traffic, so make sure your landing is well mobile optimized.

Hi Jules,

thanks for the insight.

I didn't see the option to set CPC, only select niche/keywords.... and select geo and devices... so that's what I did. I kept most of the options at default.
The campaign is live and I'm getting clicks from the US & UK for around $0.20 per click. My budget is £5 per campaign, I've got 2 of them running right now.

I need at least 50 visitors before I can run a conversion campaign, so I'll set that up tomorrow morning.

yeah, god damn - I know that feeling :( Low conversion rates. I used to promote chat / dating pay per call offer using PPV / popup traffic a few years back and I somehow managed to get that profitable - though I didn't like the margins - I was getting paid too little for the work I was doing so I gave it up and focused on FB ads and promoting CPA/CB offers.

Hmm, honestly I am not too keen on dealing with individuals companies, I've done that in the past, but it becomes a headache after a while. Some of them don't know how to close/follow up with the leads so they don't want to pay, others are just small mom/pops and can only accept so many leads - so you're restricted by how much $$ you can make.

I prefer to work with small CPA networks - because they tend to be keen on providing a good service to both their advertisers and their affiliates - while the bigger ones shit on the affiliates (especially if they don't have a track record with the CPA network).

Yeah, the platform is confusing and buggy. You have an option to set a CPC under 'Optimization & delivery >> Custom'

As you can see, the automatic is set to $0.13 but it recommends a bid of $0.34 or higher to be competitive. I never use their suggestion and start with whatever is automatic first or go with a max of $0.25 bid. You don't need to bid higher to get traffic and start optimizing.

Love the constant updating of the thread and your will to succeed. I am very sure you are going to have a big jackpot in the next couple of weeks with all the testing you are doing. Just don't give up okay?

Going through the same right now. Not at the level of you, but loss is loss :)

Stay strong brother! :) You'll find a winning camp as well :)

All of their bases will be ours.

Thanks Jules - I'll leave it on automatic for now, I'll give the manual bids a try in a few days perhaps - if the conversion campaign isn't profitable (but generating conversions).

BTW, have you successfully managed to run conversion campaigns and seen good results with pinterest ads?

Yes, I did, from beauty products, app installs for speech development app to liquor subscription boxes. People underestimate this platform and think their audience only buys women related products. Couldn't be more wrong. They love to buy for their partners, family, friends. After testing a ton of things they tend to spend more for their partners than kids :)

The problem with Pinterest is usually that everything needs time and a lot of testing before you figure out the right audience and creative that works best. This is where the majority of performance companies give up. Sometimes you just can't figure out, and some niches end up impossible to scale, and a month of work can bring you 0.

Developers are still doing a lot of work on their backend that can heavily affect your results. You need a lot of patience with them and watch your numbers closely on GA or any other platform that you use for tracking.

For example, we managed to finally figure out the right audience and profitably spend $500-1000/day. After a few days, they did an update with their audiences that effected our targeting and all collapsed + the platform spend a $1000 in 12 hours with 0 conversions. Another client got their account suspended because there was a shape on the image that looked like a button :D

After all, this platform is worth to test and figure out because they do have buyers, you just need time and testing budget.

Shock! Pinterest is definitely not for beginners)

Very interesting thread, subscribing! I always wanted to try such traffic sources like Pinterest ads, Quora ads, Snapchat ads... But heard those are quite expensive... It seems at least Pinterest ads might be good to try!

Anything to report @IamNRE ?

No real news - the home improvement pay per call offer I was promoted was abruptly stopped by the advertisers (AFTER I had invested all that time and money to set up campaigns on Adwords - so that kinda sucks).

Otherwise, I partnered up with someone and we're working to see if we can make the offer that I own/control can be profitable. I'll give you more details once I have.

So far no real positive news.

Goodluck on your new journey. I hope you'd get better outcome this time. Goodluck once again and keep going!

How much you are willing to lose until you find the right ads
