Tips for creating a BLOG

I would like to create a blog for my web agency. I would like to create a blog very similar to https://www.quicksprout.com/. My goal is to create a clean and functional blog. At first I wanted to create it with bootstrap but I realized that it is very difficult to find good codes online. So I'm forced to use Wordpress even if I don't like it as code, too slow. Do you have any suggestions? My goal is to create a blog, fast, clean and optimized for SEO. I would like to avoid Wordpress, I would prefer to use clean codes.
