I have been into app business before and did make a nice amount from it. However I did leave the industry almost 2 years ago, after I was fed up with account bans from Google Play. For the past 2 years I focused on my other business which is generating a stable income now. As of now I have the time to invest in a new project. I have decided to come back to app business as I have some prior experience in this industry. I did hear good reviews about the following course by @vinku and I have decided to follow the methods discussed in the book.

Goal:
My Goal for this journey is to generate $100/Day from my app business by January 1st 2020.

I will be doing this project along with a partner. I used to code apps earlier. However its been sometime since I coded an app. I will be spending the first 2 weeks of this journey brushing up my coding skills.

Here is what I plan to do in the next 3 Months:
Release at least 40-50 Reskin apps . Of this 5 apps will be published in my main account. The remaining 40+ apps would be published through 2 spam Google Play accounts.

Love to see journeys like this!
I will be following.

Good luck to you.

I am following your thread because i want to make money from app too. Good luck

I would like to give an update about the tasks I did in the last 3 days. I did devote over 20 Hours to this project during this time period.
1. Learned About Android Programming. I learned about creating basic apps, integrating various ad networks, UX design using Adobe XD.
2. Purchased a Google Play Account

I have also purchased an Android source code from CodeCanyon. I have made some slight modifications to it and added an extra feature to the app. I will be publishing the app on Play Store today or tomorrow.

What kind of apps will you be publishing? Utility apps? Also, thought of working with Hyper-casual games?

As of now I am focusing only on Utility apps. I find the app ideas using the Top charts in Play Store and find the source code from Codecanyon. I will definitely release a hyper casual game sometime in future. I am trying to figure out whether to use Buildbox or Unity.

Best of luck mate.

What Kind of app's?
I am doing utility apps for the time being.

So I have release my first app today. Actually its not yet published in Play Store. Its still pending review. It will probably get accepted soon . The text mentioned below is highlighted to help people reading this journey thread in future, to find the most informative posts.

App Source Code:
I brought it from Codecanyon for $25. Added ad network of my choice, changes colors and also added a nice little extra feature to the app.

App Icon:
App icon is supposed to be 512px X 512px. I designed a simple app icon in canva.

Screenshots:
Took the screenshots in my mobile. Used Google Device Art Generator to create a mockup. After that I added some text to the image using canva.
Device Art Generator

App Description:
I wrote it myself. Added 3 Different keywords to it. The description is around 400 words.

Featured Image:
Designed it using Canva.

App Translations:
Manually added translations in 30 Different languages using Google Translate.

App Video:
Recorded video using XRecorder app[android]. After that edited the video using Camtasia to remove the audio from the recording and triming unwanted parts. Added a background music to the video and uploaded it to Youtube
