Unfortunately namecheap doesnt have this kind of feature, that you redirectly make a 301 redirect without registering your domain in a hosting to perform the redirect.

if the domain is not in namecheap it work, you need to use the registrant where you have your domain, Namecheap in this case was used because the domain is with them. Every registrant have the 301 feature

Yes. Thats why 301 is a tricky business. You need to keep watching rankings very carefully.

Yes it does. But for it to work, you have to buy or transfer your domain in NAMECHEAP



People who are asking to udpate the results after some time = I will keep working on the page and building links from other sources so it wont be an isolated 301 impact but i will update the rankings on sep 15 to see how things are going. Please do remind me on sep 14

Most domain registering services allow you to redirect the domain directly using 301. If yours does not, just contact them, they'll surely provide you the feature

For a client's site, I recently implemented the 301 redirect...following are the results and details of experiment..enjoy.

• You don't have to buy domains with hundreds of links.
• Finding an expired domain with 2 or 3 high authority link is relatively easy..(i found hundreds of expired domain with a link from a top UK university)

The problem with this is that you cannot redirect 50 domains to your website. You can do 2 or 3 at most without risking too much. So if you have just 2-3 redirects to do, its better to use the strongest domains you can get your hands on as the kick will be way better than using expired domains with 2 RDs - not because you wont get any benefits from using weaker domains, but because you have limited number of domains to redirect.
