Its not a myth... there are case studies which prove it. Ahrefs did the biggest one with millions of websites and their ranking overtime.

It just said that website got "sandbox effect" because of, lack content, lack of user signal, lack of quality backlinks and competition. In other word 'lame in seo'.

Sandbox doesn't exist i can say by my experience, i have few websites not older than 2 months ranked very well. Only that matters is SEO , social signals, and content.

Ahh yes the guy who doesn't read until the end. It clearly showed a study where a guy had 4k backlinks and still couldnt get in top 10 due to the google sandbox period.

When we're talking about backlinks, it's all about quality not crappy quantity.
